Like the fact, being plastic it has held up and lasted well, easy to clean.I have used this for five medium sized plasterboard build projects and have found it to be a great allrounder, holds enough 'mud' so I'm not always having to refill half way through taping joints and corners and has allowed me to catch excess mud before splatting me or the floor lol. The lips that run along the buckets length are useful in wiping the blade of the spreader clear from grit and drying mud flakes before applying fresh mud.Going along the lines 'you get what you pay for' it is beginning to show wear, scratch marks within the bucket are appearing and attract drying mud compound. It was never purchased as a professional use item and I have been very pleased with its performance, definitely recommended and I would buy again.

A tool that any DIYer should have. Perfect for easy filler or plaster. Sharp edges ensures no wastage and makes it easy to clean. If you are contemplating between buying this or the plastic version, then spend the extra few pounds and buy this one! Really impressed.

The mud pan does what it should. The plastic is sturdy enough and has not cracked or chipped after some use and abuse. If you are going to use a mud pan often then I would suggest a stainless one but for odd jobs or a one off project this will work great. It cleans up okay and L haven't seen too much grazing by the trowel.Just remember to get the correct size for the largest trowel that you will be using.
