Using acrylic paint with a brush
I have looked up YouTube tutorials for these and they apply it with a scraper and thick paint or paste, I wasn’t confident doing that, plus I wanted to use my acrylic paints so I did a little experimental work and these are the results, not perfect colour Choices for some areas, so choose your colours carefully. With practice these are much like using the traditional type of stencil just a bit weird at first when you haven’t used this technique before. They have great design options though so it might be worth taking the time to practice and experiment, the stencils are washable and reusable so that is a bonus, wash straight after you finish because if paint or medium builds up they don’t work well. The thicker the paint the sharper the finish I think 🤔 runny paint doesn’t work well with these stencils.
