Butyband Self Adhesive Flashband - Soudal Flashing Tape 10m x 100mm

This is a really good product. It didn't solve my issues unfortunately as I have a major leak in the roof. I was hoping this would be a stop gap until warmer weather. I found it easy to use, stuck really well onto my existing roof. One err of caution don't take too much backing tape off at once do bit by bit as I found it stuck to itself. Just take your time and you will have no problems. Also make sure cut the length you want first then stick it down. Would use again if needed. This was a recommendation from another friend of mine.

I am well pleased with the finished job. I applied it myself , so anybody can. It is easy to use, and apply, no sticky hands.Adhesion is good, shows no signs of "lifting" after 3 months and I am hoping its smart appearance will last for years.I should add that it was used on my greenhouse where the wooden, cills and frames were looking distinctly sad, despitemany coats of paint in the past.

Used on UPVA to seal a gap to guttering, used on a very hot day, so none of the heating up issues reported in other reviews. It is very pliable and I had no problem with it being "too sticky", I could re-adjust where necessary. As reviewed here elsewhere, it is better to work in small pieces and overlap. I can't give it 5* as time will tell how long lasting it is.

used this on polycarbonate roof and must say when this sticks it sticks, you have to be very careful when putting it down, if it's out of line it stays out of line, there is no taking it back up, it most certainly makes a water tight seal well recommended

So many other brands are so hard to use - very stiff, or impossible to get the backing paper off, or the adhesive leaks out of the end of the roll so the tape sticks to itself and anything you put the roll down on. This stuff is very flexible, holds any shape you put it in, is easy to cut, very easy to get the backing off, and sticks very well when you want it to. I bought it to waterproof the shed we keep our firewood in. It is a conventional wooden shed top half, sat on a half-wall bottom half, and the rain was just running down the wood on to the top of the wall and then inside, soaking the floor and anything on it. I went around the join with this stuff, and not only does it look ok, it keeps the rain out and my wood dry. Excellent.

I misordered this to cover the heads of steel nails in a lead flashing. However, when I needed to repair a car port roof, I bit the bullet and unwound the tape. I was surprised to find the layers of tape separated with a smooth plastic film. - unlike other such tape I have used before So I was able to cut strips to the size I needed. I was pleasantly surprised and also impressed with the way this stuff sticks. But beware, it sticks to itself like a limpet!

needed it to stick to wood but had to assist it with galve clouts. probably using it outside its design parameters.

Used for patch repairs to leaking log store corregated iron roof (which is rusted and needs replacing) extra width makes this a bit easier as some of the holes are quite large.Generally successful despite asking it to do way more than it's designed for.Hopefully it will last a while till I get around to replacing the roof.Good product, reasonable price.

Zu erst war ich skeptisch, ob das Klebeband wirklich meinen Wand/Dach-Anschluss dicht hält. Aber es hält, inzwischen seit einigen Jahren, ohne sich zu lösen und durch die Wettereinflüsse beschädigt zu werden. Die Breite ist OK, ich hätte es gerne in 150 oder 200 mm gehabt. Nun habe ich einfach eine zweite Rolle gekauft und damit meinen Übergang verbreitert.

Un producto excelente. Lo necesitaba para proteger los bajos de una caravana, y a cumplido a un 110% su misión. Muy fácil de cortar y de colocar. Solo hay que tener en cuenta que es butilo solo por un lado, no pega por los dos. El vendedor también un servicio inmejorable

Eichhörnchen haben sich über eine Bleiabdeckung Zutritt zu unserem Speicher verschafft. Zum Glück früh genug entdeckt und ein passendes Reparaturband bestellt. Das Band klebt wirklich sehr gut und erfüllt meine Zweck, die Lücke am Kamin zu schließen. In den nächsten Jahren steht eine Dachsanierung an und ich hoffe bis dahin hält das Band. Zur Not habe ich aber noch ein wenig Reserve.
