It will work with win 10 or win 11. I use on a win 10 computer.

Does this work with Samsung Chromebook

Possible if the Chrome Book has a Type C port. I bought an adapter for mine to connect to USB. Check on return policy to make sure you can return if won't work. I have done some returns and no problem at all. Just apply to return, print or have QRCode on phone and take to local UPS or other store that is listed. Drop off and done.

Is special software required for asus fa507rc windows 11, won't play dvd?

I use this player with a free program that I downloaded called anyburn.

Is there a limit for m-disc capacity?

The unit has no memory. The blank disc does.
