The hold is so superb with this edge control and the traveler size one makes this purchase worth the money. The accessories are okay as well ! My hair stays soft , I don’t have white residue left over ! I get a shiner finish off of this edge control. I am hooked and have recommended this to everyone I know.

I brought this product after trying a sample. I believe that it's possible that the sample is completely different from the larger jar. I got the sweet peach edge control. It's amazing when you first put it on and tie a scarf on it to lay down your edges. However, once you remove the scarf, it is a tad bit dull looking. The band is a cute idea, but it doesn't work for laying down your edges. If you are 100% natural with kinkier hair and you have given up on all other products, this is OK but at the end of the day, your edges will look as they did before you put the gel on. Overall, I don't hate this product. I just wish it worked a little bit better for my hair texture. Not sure if I will buy another jar. I have found a slightly better gel for a cheaper price at the dollar store.Also, side note, this leaves a white residue on your hair.

I normally cannot do my own edges so don't try, lol. My niece fixed a style for me and it mostly lasted during a night out with my husband, through Florida humidity at an after party including a jacuzzi, and at a water park the next day after me not covering my hair or anything!Love the brushes and comb as part of the kit.Now, I am able to try to do my edges with more confidence. It isn't too sticky but it's a product so expect some stickiness and hardness.

This was a decent edge control wax. It worked well, but this was my first time using it and it took time to get used to the feel of the gel. No shine, but it's wax so it was thicker than normal, but not really greasy.It came with a small travel size jar, an edge comb/brush combo and a rat tail comb and brush. Good value!
