My truck went down and this kit was delivered quick fast and in a hurry. And honestly rebuilding and installing the kit was super easy the worst part was just getting the turbo out of the truck

I was able to use about 90 percent of the kit. Everything seemed to fit perfect. The only thing that was missing was the exhaust manifold gasket, which was purchased for $10 from my local Ford parts store. There was also one very large gasket (pic), one gasket that looked like it could be the manifold gasket but it was a little too big and one little nut (pic) that could only be for the impeller shaft but didn't fit. I also posted a pic of the gasket and part number that had to be purchased from Ford. My truck is a 99 but it was built in late 98 so that could have had something to do with not having the needed gasket and the 2 extra gaskets and extra nut. After installing the turbo everything works perfectly. I did notice a little screech noise at first that worried me but I think that was just from the turbo not having oil on the initial start up, everything seems find now. Overall a good product for a good price. There were a few sets for cheaper but sometimes it's better to pay a bit more and receive a higher quality product. Hopefully this one was a higher quality than the ones for $39.

This set is advertised as fitting 7.3l turbo for 94-2003 years. My turbo is from 2000 Excursion and is completely stock from factory. Everything was fine until I tried to install shaft with new bearings into housing. Bearings would not go in. Close examination showed new bearings about 2 mm larger than housing. No way it will fit. Is there more than one size of bearing???
