Beats Buying a New Seatpost
I had a Specialized frame that I was building up, trying to get it done on the cheap. The Specialized frame takes a 30.9 post, but all I had lying around were 27.2 posts. So I figured I’d try one of these shims. Thus far it is holding up just fine and cost a lot less than going out and getting a new post.

Great fit.
Shimmed my seat post on my Specialized Stump Jumper. It is a tight fit but angling the shim in then the post, wiggle the seat in and violá! Posts are expensive and being able to keep my seat/post setup by using an inexpensive shim, sweet!

Perfect fitting shim
This is the 2nd shim I've purchased from this seller and both fit perfectly. If you are using a carbon post, you will probably need a fiber grip paste between the shim and the post to stop any slippage.
