Samsung Electronics UN65MU6290 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2017 Model)

You can’t miss with this tv. I know Samsung sells the 6300 which is the same tv but the smart remote and blue tooth. I wanted the 6300 instead of the 6290 but the price made this one too good to pass up. After owning it, I will say the remote is no big deal. I’ve owned the amazon smart remote and it’s not that important to me. The tv performs as good as the reviews. I really like that I didn’t need to add a sound bar. The Samsung’s have much better sound than competitors. Very happy with the smart features, display, sound and overall performance.

I'm sure this TV is an amazing purchase to those that actually received the product in working condition; however, mine arrived with a cracked display which happens from time to time so I can understand that. This wasn't the case, the box was in decent condition with really no damage at all. How did this TV manage to break in a box that is seemingly undamaged? It didn't... On the box it had a white strip of tape that stood out and clearly read "DISPLAY CRACKED." This tells me that someone decided to ship a device that was tested first, labeled clearly, likely placed in a different pile with all the other damaged merchandise. To make matters worse, I won't be able to receive another TV from them because none are available anymore according to Amazon which means I lost out on my Black Friday deal for this TV. Additionally... I was told I, yes, -> I needed to take the TV and drop it off at a local UPS with my printed label. Now, I drive a 2013 Chevy Cruz (go ahead and judge, but she drives beautifully and is economically savy) and to fit a 65" TV is simply not going to happen unless I wanted to strap it to the roof... Had to bother a friend who had a truck to help me return this TV and I understand accidents happen, but seriously? Overall I just lost my deal on this TV and was shipped a broken TV that couldn't be replaced (will be refunded) and then required me to handle the packaging return instead of giving me a label that paid UPS to come to me and pick up the TV. Unsatisfied with this purchase, it was and still is (as I wait on the return for my refund) a absolute and complete headache. I'll need to remember to come on here and update with some pictures that I took. Also, with any large purchase I do an unboxing video in case things like this happen and the seller refuses -- yes, I have that as well.I wish those that purchase this device the best and I hope it arrives in great condition and runs smoothly. I know I'm the one that had that bad experience with my purchase, none the less I believe it should be publically stated what happened with my purchase.

I am really happy with this TV. I did not need the extra features that came with the 6300, and it is the exact same TV but over $100 less. The picture quality is amazing and the SMART features are very well done (quick and customizable). I would recommend this TV to anyo

I really like this TV in terms of features so I'm a tad torn in writing this review. We got this TV to replace our 45" workhorse we've had forever. For the first 3 weeks it ran beautifully. At about week three the tv would turn on with sound but no picture and take maybe 5 minutes for the picture to come on. Now its taking at least an hour and a half to turn on and then flickers between having a picture and not sometimes.Samsung is perfectly willing to do warrantee service on the set but because of its size its a little hard to transport for service. Looking online I have seen that this problem is fairly common with Samsung TVs and in many instances is related to the use of bad / underrated capacitors in the power supply. I'll try to amend this post later when the TV service repair folks tell me what's wrong.I think the thing that annoyed me honestly was the assurance from the Customer Service representatives that "resetting" the TV would somehow magically fix the problem. This seems pretty deceptive and had they listened to exactly how I described the problem (three times to three different chat folks) should have gone down a different path.I sincerely believe this sort of issue should have been identified and fixed *before* the set came to my door. I would be quite angry if this problem manifested itself after the warrantee had expired. Considering the slow onset of this problem I suspect this may have happened quite a few times.Picture: Awesome, Sound: Pretty good, Quality assurance / testing: fail

2 of the 3 tv's have had the screens go bad

Aside from the box being torn and the delivery person leaving this huge TV on the side of the house a day earlier than scheduled and me running home from work before someone pulled up with a van everything turned out fine. Picture quality is great and sound is decent. It has Netflix and Amazon but they kept disconnecting during movies because I’m far away from the router so I still use my Amazon Firestick(I guess the wifi on the Amazon stick is stronger).

Easy set up. Awesome picture and color. No complaints at all. Fabulous TV.

Awesome 4K! So very happy I chose this one over the Vizio. Amazon prime is available on chrome cast. I had read it wasn’t. Brilliant colors. A+
