Gradually introduces subjects complexity
Written with a goid teaching style; with clumsy illustrations. Starts as a simple read. By the end of third chapter i thought i was an expert. Then you get into the more technical aspects of the subject. Once i have reread the book a few times i will get my head around the maths! The book focuses on Tilapia as the fish in use, which is not very popular in UK at the moment. I am starting with rainbow trout. So and not a direct out of book experience. The book has given me enough confidence to make a start using an extended IBC based system.

An excellent book overall
This is full of useful information and, as I set up my own system, I turn to it religiously. I have a couple of other books, all more expensive, but none as easy to understand as this. Definitely worth buying. This book is obviously self-published (good for you) but what lets it down is the appalling number of spelling mistakes (literally hundreds) and the fairly bad grammar (okay, he is a Yank and I'm a Brit, so grammar will differ a little). I will often need to read a paragraph two or three times to understand what he is saying. If I had written this I would have proof read it a few times and then got friends to do the same. However, despite this, if you are going the aquaponics route then buy this book.....it is worth your money.
