The lights that arrived weren't very bright but when I put in new batteries they were fine. They are turned on by screwing the base but if you turn it to off and over turn the batteries will fall out. Not very safe if small children around.

The first one I tried failed almost straight away. Just hoping the others work for a function I am organising.Otherwise the light is lovely and warm.

Have used these in small vases of roses over Christmas, fully submerged, and they look gorgeous. The battery pack is very small and really not noticed. Very impressed with how long the battery lasts too. We've switched them on several times over Christmas, for several hours at a time. and they are still going.

Easy to get operating with the removal of the battery blank. Don’t know how long they’ll operate for on the batteries.

Tiny lights on a wire ... but very bright . Will do the job perfectly

Avoid, avoid, avoid!! 3 did not work, 3 barely worked leaving 2 that did work.Yes, they use cheap batteries, but 6 out 8 not working on receipt is not acceptable.Whole lot going back!
