Good
Good for the money. Must be careful with the handling, i managed to get some whips over the back hand. No big issue, in a week they were gone.

Buy cheap, but twice
I was reluctant to pay for some of the more expensive ropes available and thought this would be a good alternative. It’s very lightweight and adjustment is straightforward. However within just 3 days of approximately 10-15 mins skipping, the plastic coating where the rope meets the ground has cracked and the wire is now exposed.I’ll continue to use it, but not ideal… Buy cheap, buy twice!

Good value (so far!)
This is a lightweight, very nice looking skipping rope. The rotating action in the handles is very smooth and you can get up to a good speed without any issues or drag. Once you have adjusted the wire you can’t lengthen again so make sure you get the length right! Also because it is made out of metal, the ‘rope’ part can hurt if you hit yourself when skipping at speed. So overall I think a good value option for a more advanced skipper - beginners I’d probably suggest something more adjustable with a gentler rope.

Good for the price.
This is a good skipping rope for the money - £9.99 at time of review.Length can be adjusted to suit you by tightening the screws at the correct length and then cutting the end off with tin snips.Felt comfortable in the hand when skipping and the 'rope' was surprisingly flexible.Good value for money

Skiptastic! (Make sure you have pliers to hand…) Handles feel a bit thin
This is quite nice. Rocky gives the impression skipping is easy. In fact, I have found it rather hard to pick up, and it is stupidly tiring. Doubt I’ll get much use out of this, because 5 minutes of this is torture. But if you did want to get fit quickly, you could definitely do worse than commit to 15 minutes of skipping a day.Need a pair of pliers to snip and cut to the correct length. But that’s a one time thing. So fine. Though, I have to say, that the cable is stupidly long! Unless you are like 8 foot tall or something, you certainly couldn’t use these out of the box without adjusting something. Might have been better to just sell a couple of versions based on your height? The ‘adjustment’ part is really a two stage process: 1/ Adjust the screw to the correct place (one on each side). You can do this part with your fingers. They are lightly screwed on. But seem to hold with finger adjustment. And because there is a ton of ‘wire’ (it is actually in a plastic sheath, so won’t kill anyone if it goes rogue!); it does mean that you can get an exact fit to your height. So that is definitely good.2/ Snip the wires on each side, based on your height ie where you have adjusted the finger screw on each side. Otherwise the wire overhangs from the back, which doesn’t really work. For this you will need the pliers; and this does mean that basically this skipping rope is customised to your height (so your wife or husband for example, won’t be able to use it, unless they happen to be the same height as you.)Handles on this felt a bit thin in the hand to me. I have a feeling that if I used a skipping rope a lot, I would end up testing out quite a few. Not because they don’t work; but because factors, like the handle size would actually be a big deal.Similar with the plastic rope. It works. Somehow it felt slightly clinical?Priced at £9.99 when I got this. Seems fine for a proper metal skipping rope though that you can size out exactly to tailor fit your height. Just make sure you have pliers to hand when they are delivered!

Well made metal handle rope
This skipping rope is moderately heavy and the handle is perfect to grip.I can usually skip 20 to 30 times but when I use the rope, I can do more than 60.As you can see in the picture, it is good to adjust the line to suit me.However, the rope is slightly uncomfortable to carry around in a bag because it's not flexible as the others.Otherwise, the rope is perfect for skipping.

It hurts my ankles!!
So it seems the days of the little wooden skipping ropes are long gone and have been replaced by metal torture devices! This is great for those of us that can skip away for hours but for newbies like me, who haven’t seen a skipping rope in 40 years, we will undoubtedly struggle. It is a nice looking steel trap. You have to adjust it and cut the wire as it is really long. It is a nice colour and shiny. The ‘rope’ seems to be coated so doesn’t feel as cold as I thought it would be when it arrived. I managed a couple of skips and my ankles are very aware that I have done so, the welts adding a bit of colour to my pale skin. To be fair, it is a good sturdy skipping thing. The handles are comfortable. It seems to move a bit quicker than the old ropes…or is that just me?? Maybe I am rushing to get it over with. Happy to give it 4 stars as I am sure the more serious buyers will love it. I will probably use mine for cutting through cheese blocks :-)
