beautiful exhibition catalogue
This is a beautiful catalogue that not only perfectly compliments the resent British Museum exhibition but also offers an insight to the exhibition with fascinating essays. The book is well researched and organized . It would appeal to anyone interested in the how landscape art changed and evolved after the two world wars.

Places of the Mind
This is a fascinating catalogue showing work by little-seen British artists of the 19th & 20th. centuries. It's a real eye-opener for any artist interested in landscape painting. How I wish I'd noticed the exhibition was on!!

Places of the Mind: British watercolour landscapes 1850―1950.
A paperback exhibition catalogue from 2017; it contains a number of interesting essays and is quite well-illustrated with 159 colour illustrations.A useful survey of landscape in watercolour, the selection includes a wider variety of artists than one would normally find in books on the subject; some of the work is a little monochromatic – more coloured drawings than actual watercolour painting – but it`s good to have examples of some less well-known artists available and in context.A worthwhile addition to one`s art library.
