Xerox Phaser 6180 - High Capacity Toner Cartridge (6,000 Pages) - 113R00724

I was having trouble printing colors. The colors would smear or actually peel off the page. I thought the fuser unit was probably going bad so I replaced it. That didn't do anything. I was using off brand toner cartridges and, as a last resort before throwing this printer away and buying a new one, decided to try replacing the off brand cartridges with these Xerox brand cartridges. These cartridges have fixed all the printing problems. The printer is now printing great colors that don't peel off the page. I honestly thought that all toners were just the same and there may be some good off brands out there but I will never use anything but Xerox brand cartridges again. They cost a little more if you just compare cartridge to cartridge but I would have been much better off just buying them to begin with and saving the money I spent on the off brands... not to mention the hassle I would have saved myself.

What can I say? It's OEM toner. It works and works right. It's also the high capacity cartridge which is always the way to buy for a business and for most home setups as well.You can save money with generic toner or refilled cartridges but you're gambling and in the long run most lose.This is the good stuff.

I have tried knock-off printer cartridges and been very disappointed; one even leaked magenta toner in my printer. With Xerox I get great prints and a reasonable number of pages per cartridge. If you spent the money for a Xerox printer, you may as well use Xerox cartridges.

This is a good deal.... cheaper than from Xerox direct. Spend the money and get the genuine product; otherwise you will likely have to replace your printer early. We proved this with an HP and are not risking the generic item on our replacement Xerox machine.

I've always used genuine Xerox toner in the 6180DN I bought for my business years ago. This is the first Standard Capacity Cartridge I've bought, however. I've been retired for a few years so I don't print many pages, maybe 1,000/year at most. This cartridge was fine for a few months but then I started getting black smudging all along the left side of everything I printed. Not long after that, the printer displayed a 'Replace Black Cartridge' error and wouldn't print at all. This occurred after printing a few hundred pages with the new Black Cartridge. I've gotten my money's worth from the printer over the years but I'm not going to spend time and money troubleshooting this problem and buying another Black cartridge on top of that.

No other choice really for the 6180; don't purchase after market or refilled - I tried many - all junk. AMZ has almost the lowest price on these and free 2-day shipping with Prime.

I just needed a toner that will work with my printer at reasonable price. I tried many toners like refurbished and such. They don't work well. This, however, works well with my Xerox and this is a good price.

Had bought a knockoff brand of toner from Amazon for my printer. It was really disappointing, it made the printer dirty, toner was only half full, poor quality print. Took it as a sunk cost and discarded it, and bought authentic Xerox toner from Amazon. Much better results, predictable high quality print, at a great price!
