Marvel Legends Series: Cyclops Astonishing X-Men Collectible 6-Inch Action Figure

Appearance of this nice quality figure is worth the price, very well made and great movement and articulation. Great way start a collection before I start buying the X-Men 97 ' figures. Love the paint quality on this also.. X-MEN Legends collection one of my favorite mutant figures so far.

In recent years Marvel Legends have produced some really great sculpts that accurately represent Marvel characters in either their comic or movie forms. Some fall shorter of feeling like both good sculpts and good toys than others, but this is not one of them. This is a great sculpt of Cyclops in one of his best uniforms during his long run on the X-mean. It's sturdy, simple and is an overall great figure. The only thing I dont' like is that while the makers rightly anticipated the desire of kids to want to occasionally remove the plasma smoke from the eye unit, they accomplished that by having you remove the entire transparent red piece, leaving the iconic cyclopean visor empty. Cyclops's whole deal is that he has to have a ruby piece in this visor to control his power. I understand wanting to make the weird extra bit removeable, but maybe just have another flat piece behind it that at least makes it look like it's still the Cyclops we all know and sometimes love.

I think some people get discouraged because this figure has that little squiggle coming out of his visor and because the box doesn't have a window so you have to open it, but if you plan to open it, then this is the biggest bang for the buck compared to other Cyclops figures. The points of articulation are ridiculous...like, you can twist just the middle part of his calves, or even tilt the feet. This is really a situation where this is being marketed to for the people who make dioramas and videos.

It looks good and my only real complaint is that the laser particle is coming out. And I don’t even really mind it. This figure is a great cyclops and was shipped in perfect condition

It's great to see new toys out there and this one was a nice addition. It was from a great comic run so that was a bonus. Would have liked the packaging to be like some of the other Legends boxes but beyond that it is a must have.

Love the figure , I have a soft goods trench coat to give him like in wolverine and the X-men which is based off the uncanny series but I like the optic blast after effect but wish it had the actual blast like the 97 one has but i is still good

A very articulable figure, honestly not too familiar with this version of his costume, however, well designed. Looks good. Not a huge fan of the versions that make Cyclops seem like a big guy, since the original description of him was tall yet slender build. Similar to a Reed Richards figure I also acquired recently. Still relatively accurately sculpted physique…Another excellent acquisition…
