Looks Great.. for about 10-15 days
So basically the preview image for this product cannot be this product. My bedding is already falling apart, with some of the pin-tuck stitching coming apart, it's not pretty (no photo taken, just saw it today). I wish either the pin-tucks were deeper, or just more of them. It doesn't look as nice as it does in the preview.PROS:-You can sleep on it-You can sleep under it-You can put a duvet inside of it-Has pin-tucks-Is gray (if you like gray)-has a zipper—aaaaand it hasn't broken yet-soft-ish (I use it mostly for the visual, but I have slept in it, zips up nicely and feels like a tent)CONS:-haven't washed it (because it hasn't been long enough), but I'm assuming after 1 wash, all pin-tucks get stolen from the washer fairies.-is Gray (in case you don't like gray)-pin-tucks are weak. I've fought babies who've had better grip than these things.-quality is eh, I can't imagine the pin-tucks lasting more than 2 washes. The material might be okay.-Duvet didn't want to stay in one place inside the cover (technically this shouldn't count as con, because it's an unfair situation, but my other duvet cover doesn't have this issue, so I'm blaming the duvet cover)-no zipper on inside, so hard to get out when testing how it feels to sleep inside of it (jk)Would I recommend this product? Probably not. Unless you're a bachelor like me and have some extra fund to throw into the trash—and if you do, I'll give you my venmo, I call it the trashcan, so it's like the same thing!Don't buy this product if you're looking for a long lasting duvet cover of this style. Look elsewhere, maybe even away from Amazon as most of the similar products have the same issue.IF YOU REALLY WANT THIS PRODUCT: make sure you look at when you return it, because you'll probably want a replacement soon into the future—I'm working on it now :)

All good- except the pillowcases
This was a nice, bright white and looked great. We were selling our home and I just wanted something clean and bright looking. No- there are not "buttons" for your duvet corners. But there are simple ties at each corner- I just "crimped" the corner of the duvet and tied the ties into a bow. It doesn't seem like that would do it- but you don't see it on the outside and they stayed just fine. (Even with excessing "fluffing" when you're trying to work your duvet into a cover). The reason for the 4 stars- the darn pillowcases. They appear to be the same fabric but they look cheaper. It might be because my duvet is white- and the pillows are off white. But I had to put a plain flat pillowcase UNDER these so they don't look see through. But for some reason I also could never get the wrinkles out- and you can't exactly iron a pintuck. They're also VERY long- my king pillows are longer than normal. A good 50% of the covers I buy don't fit. But not these- they're several inches too long even for my pillows- I had to fold them over and tuck them. If they had left the pillowcases off ironically I'd probably be happier- I gave up using them. One note- I have on older cat and a tall bed. She occasionally doesn't quite make that leap and pulls herself up...with her claws. Not surprisingly she has put several runs and pulled a couple of "tucks" out- but that's after months of use and many washings. I wouldn't expect that NOT to happen with a simple cotton fabric- and I didn't ding them for that reason. For the price I'll just order another set.

It’s softer than it looks in the picture.
UPDATE: I still like the duvet but there is some slipping of the blanket inside. I’m not sure it is this duvets problem or more likely a problem with all duvets (this is my first duvet so I don’t know). I bought the King size and the “slippage” is mor noticeable in the center of the blanket. I’m able to fix it but it’s not something I prefer to do in the middle of the night. The only thing this duvet does get wrong is that the ties on the corners that hold the blanket in place are silky and they have come undone. These needed to be made of a less slippery material.I just put it on the bed so I’m not sure how it will go with slipping and such but it seems to look like it will be just fine. We have a super thick fuzzy blanket inside of it. I bought this because I didn’t want to buy all new bedding. All that being said...this thing is super soft! I was worried it would be too stiff since the picture made it look “shiny.” I was also worried that the “pin tucks” would be uncomfortable, especially on the pillows. The fabric is so soft you almost can’t tell you are sleeping on bunched up material. I will still probably sleep on the reverse side of the pillow that doesn’t have the pin tucks so I don’t wake up with marks on my skin.

the fabric felt soft and didn't need additional ironing which was a good sign. However
I washed the duvet once it arrived, so I could get most of the wrinkles out. Once washed, the fabric felt soft and didn't need additional ironing which was a good sign. However, immediately after putting it on my bed, there are 5 places where the pinch pleat pintucks came undone. It is obvious where the pintucks were because there are small holes too. I will be manually sewing them back into place, but it's unfortunate that a new product can fall apart so easily.**Update to my prior review.** I was contacted immediately by the customer service department and they sent me a replacement order. I washed the duvet and the pintucks did not fall apart like the first order.

Great product for the price
This product is great for the price! (I bought the light grey color). My only complaint is the material, but I should have paid attention to it being polyester before I bought it.It is super cute and trendy, light weight and easy to wash! But the material makes it easy for threads to get caught and runs to happen in the cover. I’ve had it for about a month and I’ve washed it a few times and it already has some noticeable runs in it.But over all it’s a great product for what you pay for and I’d recommend it for anyone who doesn’t mind polyester or doesn’t want to pay an arm and a leg.
