AntHouse - Natural Sand Ants - Medium Kit (Sandwich + Forage Box)

We are giving this ant farm to our 5 year old grandson for Christmas. We opened the package and were impressed by the careful packing and clear instructions. The worker ants and queen were busily carrying larvae and millet seeds around the test tube. We fed them a little of the included protein liquid. We can't wait to see the entire farm set up, much more interesting than the simple sandwich I grew up with. Grandpa might need his own ant farm now!

Fantastic service and everything was exactly as it was in the photos

Bought this for my son, delivery was quick. He enjoys watching the ants, although they've not really made huge paths in the sand yet so its difficult to see them, hoping this will change soon. Easy to assemble although the lid is a little flimsy. On the whole, its a decent set up.

Ordered this for my boyfriends 21st birthday and we were originally very delighted with it. The ants arrived alive and well, the lid to the sandwich part fit perfectly which I had been worried about from some previous reviews. However over the last few weeks it seems the lid to the sandwich has somehow bent so no longer fits flush, which was fine as we just celotaped it down. But then the lid to one of the outboxes suddenly did the same, so out comes the celotape again. Now we notice the sandwich seems to be bending outwards, so the edges are no longer straight which is forming little gaps around the lid. So we'll have to DIY that too, and possibly buy some kind of new home for the ants which is a shame as they have dug some very interesting structures and queen ant "Maria" seems pretty settled ☹️ not sure what caused this, my only guess would be the heat...

The product was not sealed tightly, we followed the instructions which were vague, the colony has since died despite food being in plenty and water being made available, we introduced the colony and two ants escaped and we managed to return them, the ants have left their scent within the product so we are unsure of what we do next, my daughter is very upset as she was keeping a daily journal on their behaviour, we want to replace the colony but we dont know if this would be suitable as we will need new sand and to clean the whole thing out to rid the scent of the former colony..

Amazing packing had an issue with the lid as it broke but I fixed it recommend to everyone it's an amazing experience

El producto se ajusta a la descripción. Llegó muy rápido, en perfecto estado y las hormigas muy bien protegidas, con agua y comida. Viene con unas hojas con información general, pero no instrucciones, pero tienen videos en Youtube que lo explican todo, no obstante es muy sencillo de montar sin ellas. El acrílico para taparlo no viene incluido hay que pedirlo aparte, yo lo solucione cortando unas hojas traslucidas. Tiene buen tamaño. Buena compra.

Myrorna var halvdöda, sanden gick inte alls att fukta som det beskrevs, dålig instruktion som medföljde. Alla myror dog inom några dagar. Stort missnöje och framförallt stor sorg för 8-åringen som dessutom använt sina egna pengar.

Formigueiro exatamente como o da imagem, veio muito bem embalado e de Fácil montagem, as formigas estavam todas vivas, em ótimas condições! O formigueiro chegou antes do tempo estimado para entrega e as formigas vieram com comida e água no tubo de ensaio onde estavam, na colônia tinha a rainha, umas 20 operárias e ovos e larvas. Produto de excelente qualidade, recomendo!
