These jars are phenomenal! I love how they look but I guess cause it’s a wooden lid, it’s easy for them to crack? It came with a crack and I just didn’t want the hassle of exchanging them and kept it. But for someone who would be bothered by this, just be aware!

I was looking for jars to store my coffee and sugar in for a coffee bar in my kitchen. I purchased these along with some syrup pumps. They are a good size for pouring the 4-pound sugar and coffee containers into, leaves a little bit of room at the top for a scoop. They look great next to my coffee pot, and I can see exactly which container I need. I can also visually look on my way out the door heading to the grocery store and see if I'm due to refill either! The lids seal tightly, and they are sturdy, nice quality jars.

I’m getting a lot of our pantry items transferred to glass jars piece by piece. These two I especially love because the wood lids twist on instead of just sit on the jar like some of my others. The glass is thicker than I expected which I appreciate. The acacia wood fits nicely with the wood tones in our kitchen. Easy to clean and air dry.

I have been on a mission to find some larger glass jars for making iced tea and coffee, storing pet kibble, etc. But my only must-have has been that the jars be airtight. I don't want flavors and food messing each other up inside my fridge, and I certainly want to keep my cat's kibble as fresh as possible--not to mention ant-free. The first two glass jars I've received over the last week or so were both advertised as airtight. So, first thing I do is fill them about 1/4 full with water, screw the lid on tightly (but reasonably), and invert the jar. In both cases, a steady trickle of water began immediately. Total fail.These jars? Not a drop. They don't have a gasket in the lid, which surprised me. But I guess the flexibility of the plastic screw insert inside the wood cap takes care of sealing the jar. So good!Positives:- Actually is airtight.- Included silicone boots help keep your refrigerator shelves and your countertops scratch-free, as well as helping the jar avoid sliding.- Nice-looking wood cover on the lid.Negatives:- Because of the decorative wood cap, only the jar itself is dishwasher-safe.- I can't find any info about the safety of the plastic insert in the lid. That's the part of the lid that would come into contact with the jar's contents, so I'd like to know if it's BPA-free. I don't see anything about that in the product description, but the packaging mentions that the glass is BPA-free. I don't know if that's just a wording mistake or what. I posted the question here, so hopefully that'll get a response.- The opening is only 2-7/8". I can't get my hand into the jar, much less a scoop for cat kibble. Not an issue for liquids, but be aware of this limitation.Overall, very nice jars. I'll not be able to use them for cat kibble due to the small openings, but they'll work great for holding teas and coffee in my fridge.RECOMMENDED.
