I don’t think there is a better option under $200 on the AM5 socket. This processor is pretty chill in terms of temperature (while gaming), but it delivers excellent performance on any task. It’s not the best processor out there, but it’s an excellent starting point for this socket. It comes with a cooler that is good enough in the box so you can save on it. I’m delighted with it

I paired this with a rx 6600 gpu. I’ve had my pc for about a month now. I’ve been running higher graphics on fortnite and shaders and heavy mods on minecraft, Everything runs really well with very little to no lag. I have a thermalright fan cooler on it and the highest my temps get are 78° (only for a sec, until my fans cool it down again). My parts aren’t top of the line so I didn’t expect to run my mods and shaders on mc as well as I do, but compared to my crusty dusty 6 yrs old xbox one my pc runs so smooth and fast!

Great for its price point, handles every game I throw at it, including large strategy games that are CPU intensive.The only thing I would critique is the stock cooler, man that thing is trash, I was getting pretty high temps while just at idle with it, had to upgrade to a dual tower for this CPU because not only is the stock cooler not very good, this CPU runs hot!

i am using this with my rx 6700 xt and it run very good. y really like, a feel like i will have this item for a long time, ideal for gaming and streaming

Really fast cpu .. just alittle spicy. Doesn’t really go past 75f though. Better tweak that fan is all I’m saying.

No reason to buy top of the line. This chip is a bargain.
