Having continually battled with toilet seats coming loose, needing adjusting or breaking in our household of nine, we decided to try the LDS seat to see if that could fix our problem. We had already tried the "heavy duty" brackets and rubber grips, which did extended the time to failure but did not solve the problem.We bought our first LDS toilet seat along with the Amazon suggested additional optional rubber fittings - don't bother with the additional fittings the ones that come with the seat are perfect. After a couple of months use on our worst toilet for failures, the LDS seat has remained solid with no loosening what so ever. The added advantage of being able to simple remove the seat for cleaning under the hinges has also proved so useful it would now be on our requirements list. We have now replaced all the seats throughout the house with the LDS seats and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a stable solid, easy clean toilet seat.The only downside is that the seat only comes in white; which put us off in the beginning. But now we think, who would want a sparking silver seat on a white toilet that comes loose and is difficult to properly clean when you can get a seat that looks great, functions perfect, is more hygienic - but it is white.....

I feel like Cinderella must have done when she finally got her shoe back not going to the any balls but celebrating anyway - I finally have a toilet seat that fits properly doesn't slide or suddenly lurch sideways. Thanks to the accurate measurements in the product description. ( there is no such animal as a universal toilet seat) AND it removes at the touch of the button this information may only be of use to half of you - the half that has to clean the toilet! but its a real bonusBecause the fitting and adjustment is so important I did call on a. n . other to dangle the seat while I adjusted the little posts in the fixings to match the holes in the seat and lid assembly. This seat is top fixing ( you don't even need access to the underneath) and can be adjusted slightly by sliding back or forward in the slots provided and by rotating the posts to fit the space between the holes at the back of your toilet. Obviously these are only slight adjustments but all the measurements " from and to" are in the product description. The only downside and it has been mentioned is no instructions a few simple diagrams would be reassuring. Over the years I have fitted and refitted many toilet seats and the fittings are rarely the same O.K it may not be rocket science but I belong to that sector of the population that doesn't throw the instructions out as I unpack the box I like to know that A) I have all the bits and B) where they go. Saves time in the end. Oh it looks pretty good too.

This seems well made and thoughtfully designed, if slightly smaller than the seat I'm replacing. It feels fairly heavy and sturdy and the soft close allows the seat to be lowered reasonably quickly without noise. The through-toilet fixings however are not up to the same standard. The plastic expanding plugs were very difficult to get through the mounting holes in the toilet and, once in, do not grip sufficiently regardless of how much the bolts are tightened resulting in a seat that moves sideways when you sit on it. I actually broke one of these fixings in the process of trying to get them tight enough. I have now replaced these with a pair of stronger metal and rubber versions also from Amazon. Problem solved.

Great replacement toilet seat for our Parisi Nahm toilet. Comes with top fixing and fits well and is nice and tight. I love the fact it can be removed very easily for cleaning. Always worth paying a little bit more for a decent seat .

The toilet seat was good and easy to fit, however; I made the order as a repeat of several seats ordered a while ago, the previous orders had been with a child seat attachment. On arrival, this time no child seat fitted, not as I expected. So disappointed.The toilet seats are good, but you need to take care with the order.

Delivered on time In perfect condition. After removing the old seat and cleaning the area, it took me less than 10 minutes to install. All the work is done from above, absolutely no need to get down under the pan. Will be so easy to clean, just push the button on the whole thing will be released. We have a four year old granddaughter who tends to slam the lid down. This one closes softly. Would highly recommend this product!

I bought this as a replacement seat for a different brand which had broken. I wanted a decent weight seat that didn't feel too flimsy and soft close hinges that fastened securely and didn't move around once fitted.This ticks all the boxes.It's reasonably heavy and feels sturdy and the soft close hinges work well. Important with little ones in the house.It was a little fiddly to fit but only because it took a while to get it lined up properly, the fixings seem secure though and it doesn't move around at all.The addition of the quick release button is fantastic, 2 young boys in the house means toilet cleaning can take a while and to be able to just lift the whole seat makes this so much easier.I've had it just under 2 months now and so far I am very pleased with it
