Thank you for asking this question! When the Uroshock is initially applied, the sound is quiet. When adequate pressure is applied there is an internal click. This internal click indicates that the right amount of pressure is being applied. Why should this not be used by those on blood thinners?

We recommend that customers who have a bleeding disorder, or who are on blood thinners avoid shockwave therapy. We say this out of an abundance of caution, to avoid even what is likely a small risk of bleeding.
