I use these for soft-soldering jewelry and stained glass pieces, and they are wonderfully heat-resistant. I bought some cheap silicone fingertips that only worked about 10% as effectively as these. They fit snugly on my fairly small fingers, and provide enough flexibility that I can still "feel" the pieces I'm working on, but they're also so heat-resistant that I rarely have to move my hand away. They stand up well to flux and other chemicals, and are easily washable. I wish I'd bought these in the beginning - they have saved me a lot of frustration!

I was looking for something to shield me from the heat of my pyrography pen without having to use a bulky glove. This product is the bees knees!! Perfect!! The fit is snug (s/m) but I'm breaking them in quickly and the material is form fitting to the creases of my fingers as you can see in one of my photos! My ring size is a 7 first finger, 8 middle and thumb is an 11. I don't know how I lived without these protectors all these years. I purchased the Burnmaster "Eagle" from Amazon a couple of years ago and could really feel it's power and intensity so this little product was a necessity. If you're looking for a flexible bit of protection for your digits, these are great! The stitching looks a little sketchy but I love them enough to mend them if needed. Price was reasonable too since I use them on the daily. I plan to purchase a back up set! Get these!

They definitely protect you from heat, but the seams that hold this together are not really good...I wouldn't count on durability. A few uses only.

I like to use my glue gun to do crafts, but I have a problem with burning my fingertips because I can't help but use my fingers to press down on the item to set the hot glue... Well, I am putting flowers and leaves on a reef, well you know it only sticks if I put my fingers on the flowers or leaf's and burn my fingertips. LOL Anyways, it's a great item to use. They are easy to put on and comfortable. It has saved my fingers tips.

Maybe I didn't read the description well enough but doesn't work for hot glue and hot glue gun. Which is why I bought this.

For nice on fingers and provide excellent heat protection when working on pyography projects.

These protect even with the hottest of steam irons. I haven’t tried them yet with a curling iron, but I would imagine they work just as well for that.

Will take a min till they fit comfortably. These are not 100% heat resistant, but they do the job.
