40 mm Ceramic disc Cartridge Valve for Single Lever monobloc Bathroom or Kitchen Blender taps, tap Replacement from Grand Taps

It is for a Francis Pegler kitchen mono sink mixer fitted on in October 2011. Cartridge had to be replaced as water dipping. Phoned the manufacturer and it was not possible to get a replacement cartridge. It was lucky for me to get this from Amazon. It was very easy to fit on and it is working very well.

Easy to replace the cartridge. Stopped the dripping tap, cheaper than buying a new tap, and saving the planet in the meantime

When tap started leaking, I took the cartridge to 2 large plumbers merchants, both had the same answer, unless you have the make of tap, we can't help. so on to Amazon, found exactly what I was looking for in a few minutes along with the complete measurements of the cartridge. the item was delivered to my front door very quickly. (because I had Prime, the very next day). Took about 10 minutes to fit, very happy.Merchants beware, you need to provide a similar service, or you will go out of business.

Like others reviewing this item, I found it impossible to find these cartridges in DIY, or even special plumbing centres. I was told it would be best to replace the whole tap. It fitted perfectly and fixed the problem in minutes.

Was a bit cheaply made and wasn't as smooth in its movement as the cartridge it replaced.
