AGS SG8 Lubricant

Slippery! Used instead of white lithium in power window regulator tracks and motor gear pack. One tube will last quite a while. Good for lots of applications and is waterproof.

This is the large size tube 8oz/ 227g. I’ve used this stuff on my brakes the past 20 years, and it’s never let me down. Excellent for many other uses, as listed on back of the tube.

After having used LOTS of different brake lubes without much satisfaction in both NOISE and COMPONENT STICKING/SEIZING... And NOT having had either of these problems while using Sil-Glyde, in the same vehicles and under the same driving conditions, I'm throwing my old lubes in the trash and I'll be using Sil-Glyde from now on. The reason I'm throwing the old stuff away is because I'd rather not be responsible for having given a friend an inferior product, all the while knowing that I should have been recommending this Sil-Glyde to them. An 8 oz tube will last the average homeowner a lifetime!! HELPFUL TIP: I also get this in smaller very convenient .7 oz tubes. This size will do +/- 8 to 10 or more brake jobs AND thousands of different handyman lube jobs around the shop or home. This size is also perfect for any tool box because it doesn't take up near as much space as the huge 8 oz. tube and there's still MORE then enough to do lots and lots of things. Use a small paintbrush to put it on with. A very small amount goes a long, LONG way! Remove all rust, grease, sediment, debris, etc. at all metal-to-metal contact points and caliper pins with a Scotch Bright pad, steel wool, Roloc reconditioning disc, or a typical dry green kitchen scrubby BEFORE installing the new pads/Syl-Glyde. It works great for keeping rubber things "like new"! While the tire is off, I also like to rub a small amount of Syl-Glyde into any reachable "rubber parts" on tie rod ends, aging cv boots, brake lines, etc. to help RECONDITION it and keep it supple and pliable. Don't just "paint" it onto the surface. Work it INTO the rubber with a little bit of elbow grease so that it penetratrates the surface thoroughly and is not just simply applied on top of it. You'll get better results. Have fun!

This is the lube of lubes. Top quality. I use this on brake jobs exclusively for the slide pins but it has other applications as well. Excellent product.

We used this for our rear axle swap out (2003 Forester). The section popped into the rear diff like my dog jumps in for a car ride. 😂👍✨
