This stuff works!
This stuff got me out of a real jam! I was stuck in 1955 and needed to transfer electricity from my home made lightning rod to my flux capacitor while simultaneously traveling at 88 mph! Needless to say this was quite task, however, all 1.21 gigawatts were successful transferred through this foil tape catapulting me back to present day. Thank god I got out of there when I did because I was about to start dating my mother!

Adhesive is not conductive as advertised
Product is advertised as having an electrically conductive adhesive. It is either marginally conductive or not conductive at all, depending upon where you test the material on the adhesive side with an ohmmeter. Doesn't do any better if applied to metal and tested for the ability to conduct electricity through to the metal. Prospective buyers please know this before you buy.

Adhesive is not conductive
I really hate when people give one star reviews but this product flat out fails on one of it's most basic selling points: It does NOT have a conductive adhesive. I tested with my multimeter. On the non-adhesive copper side, even the softest touch of the probes against the tape results in the expected beep, indicating conductivity. On the adhesive side, the only way I can get a beep is to push the probes into the tape so hard that I think they're just forcing through the adhesive and pushing into the copper.

alternative uses
I am a mixed media artist always searching for unusual media. I know this tape has lots of possibilities for electronics and soldering, but for me, it's something unique. It's very easy to work with, no sharp edges, and sticky enough to work on a lot of different surfaces. It's also re-positionable within a reasonable period of time. Love it, will be ordering a wider width for larger works.

Saves Time and Money
This thin electricity conducting copper tape with adhesive on one side can save money when applied to connections that have loosened through the years. For example, a laptop jack receptacle which becomes loose resulting in the plug easily falling out can be remedied by wrapping this copper tape around the plug. Doing so firms up the connection to the laptop without having to replace the jack. There are many other imaginative ways this amazing product can save time and money.

We put it down on a wood board to keep the snails out and it works amazingly. We have to reapply it every couple of months but very effective.

Very good copper tape.
Its a very good copper tape and conductive. Was using it to close up repaired ground shield in repairs of multi-conductor cables. Why not a 5-star? Its a smidge thin. Some other tapes I have worked with can take to a bit of tension during wrapping. This has a very good chance of snapping as it did to me a couple of times. I just overlapped it and kept on going but would have liked to seen it a smidge thicker so that would not have happened. That aside, very good copper tape.

Not really conductive on both sides, defeating the purpose
I ordered this copper tape to make an LED light panel using LED light strips. I should have just been able to place the tape across the matching exposed connection points on the strips. However, when I did this the lights only flickered on occasion as I played around with it. Taping it down didn't work, and soldering didn't even work! Finally I thought to flip the tape over and only use the non-adhesive side, and it works! Of course this means I have to find another way to secure the copper tape; electrical tape seems to work well. However, the reason I bought this tape was because it claimed to have conductive adhesive, and that is not the case for me, so I can't rate it highly.
