These look very nice and protects my Nissan XTrail Doors. I changed the original tape to the 3M one and has worked well. I did this based on past reviews.

Help stop door dents.

First note they do not use 3M tape. The ‘adhesive’ is a goop that can easily come off the product while pealing off the red seal which made for a very frustrating install. Provided the corners cut I don’t think this will last. Best recommendation is to measure and mask with painters tape to make sure it turns out level and even across the body of the car. Good luck!

I was a little disappointed that these were folded up in a box and shipped to me. Out of the box, they were bent in the shape of a “U”. I had to take my heat gun, lay them flat, and get them flat again. That is gently heating them.TipsYour car door needs to be washed and dried. You need a very clean surface.Let your car sit in the sun to warm your door. The adhesive will stick better.You need to put a straight edge on the car door to find where your car door curves out(see picture). Mounting them in the wrong spot will offer no protection.You need a sharp knife to peel the backing off the tape. It is VERY sticky. I literally had to hold down on the sticky part, and peel off the backing.Do not mount them level or use a level. My car slopes to the front end. Follow the contour of the door, that is lines on top and bottom. I measured from the crease of the door at the top to the door guard.You can lightly do a dry fit, and remove if needed. Once you have a good position. Roll with your palm across the door guard for a snug fit.Quite happy. The material is a hard rubber. My car is gun metal gray, and it matches up well.

Looks great the only problem is that after 6 moths the adhesive on the rubber side is coming loose it is stuck on the vehicle side.

Got tired of seeing door dings from other vehicles at recreational parks. I placed the larger piece for the rear doors and higher where majority of my dings were. I do wish the smaller piece was larger too. Tip: Use tweezers to remove the red tape cover. They did provide extra tape but didn’t need. I will save when the tape wears.

I never had better edge protector than this one.It's fit great to my new 2023 Skoda Fabia and looks perfect.It's hard sturdy flexible to band it as you wish and keep my door protected.

Item looked great on my truck. But… fell off in less than 24 hours. No rain no car wash. Just dry normal day in my driveway. Going to try it again with 3M double side tape.
