Hungarian Pick Salami 800g

A specialty for gourmets! Macerated matured meat, dry with minimal fat content. Unique taste and aroma. I have been buying it for many years, great for party plates, toasts and sandwiches. For people who haven't had it yet, info: The white on the surface is a special mold coating (same as Chamember cheese). Peel the skin before slicing!

I like salamis, they have great flavour but some can be too salty, too fatty, feel to ‘processed’, etc. this is not the case . This is so flavoursome and has a delightful smoky taste which is not overpowering. I love it.

This is just wonderful made with love and care and the main thing for me not sugary sweet as I am very sensitive to sugar. I came back to buy two more it was so good but they only had one left so I had that. My respect to the makers. Urban Merchants should be mentioned too for their fair price of £19 for 800g. Other merchants are taking the mick asking £40 for it however much I loved it I'd not pay that for it.

I have always lived this salami since I was a young boy in Austria. Deep flavour or the ‘winter’ salami is great both in a sandwich as well as cooking it with Pasta or as a tapas.

Coming from a German heritage my grandfather would eat no other kind. Strangely he swore by it as the best bait to put in mouse traps too although I always thought that a waste!

Good flavour, although a bit soft, which made it nigh on impossible to slice thinly. I used to live on this stuff, flushed down with copious amount of beer, during my student years
