I took a chance on these with mixed reviews and I could not be happier. These are for a movie room so I used white dimmable globe bulbs instead of the clear, and I love it. I purchased 5 of these - two double kits and a single. The packaging for two was really nice and in a box with foam. However, I did receive 1-2 inside of a bag with no box where everything was just loose. I'm guessing it was a return. Nothing seemed to be damaged. These look very nice but do be aware that it is basically a base with the 'flower' piece that just sits in between the base and the bulb. I would recommend and buy again.

He's having antique gold patina, and the textured top makes them look a bit vintage. Unfortunately, my contractor put them together incorrectly, with the lid sitting on top of the hub piece that goes through the top, rather than sandwiched in between the two carriages in the hub. You're meant to install the shade piece between the two post components. I don't really wanna photograph it this way, as it's not an accurate representation of how the product is meant to be put together. It's going to take some doing to disassemble and reassemble--but the color looks extraordinary against my black walls. The entire bulb will be exposed, so you will want to get a very low-watt bulb (like an Edison bulb). You might also be able to work with a smart lightbulb that can be dimmed or controlled through a smart home management app. Anything above 60w is gonna be painfully bright (and even 60w is pushing it). Overall, very happy with these.

This is a matching pair of smallish wall mounted brass light fixtures. There are extremely well made and appear period correct for early 20th century. Designed and built for use without shades, they should be used with low wattage decorator bulbs and as passage lights rather than task lights so that looking directly at the bulbs is not a problem. The brass finish is flawless. I like these because they remind me of Queen Anne and Victorian architecture.
