Well made and relatively easy to install. I had to trim to 8.5 since it’s an 8” hole. The trimming took some time since it’s 3 layers and tough to trim. Good value

My chimney flue measured 7.5 inches and I was able to maneuver this 9 inch to fit. I am so pleased. I love the medal handle and the thickness of plug. It is exact hat I was looking for and I couldn’t be happier!!! It was much better that I thought a chimney flue plug could be.

There is no instructions with this thing, and I have struggled with this plug for months. I have an old metal fireplace with a 8" diameter pipe. The dampener swivels in the middle and there is very little space below it. The nut on top kept popping the plug out of place. So i tried putting it above the dampner, and the handle on this plug is too short and the rubber pad it too stiff to get it up there. I didn't spend much to buy this, but it is poorly made and there is no help on how to get it to work. Now it is too late to return it, so into the bin it goes.

Used this to plug a fireplace and stop drafts. I cut down the edges several times to get a snug fit and so far, so good.
