Bought along with2 replica VCs for a presentation on history of the country’s highest gallantry awards. Full size but not as heavy as genuine medal. A friend who is a medal dealer said it’s a very good copy but to an expert it can be distinguished as replica at a glance. Is marked with copy on reverse. Captivated my audience though. A good buy

Unfortunately, despite being similar, this is no way a replica. In particular the ring that attaches the medal to the ribbon looks way too modern. The finish looks very dull by comparison. It has ""COPY" in raised letters on the rear. This could be for legal reasons but is entirely unnecessary. The appears to be cheap polyester rather than what I imagine would be silk.I am not happy but can't be bothered to return it for a refund.

I know it's a replica/copy but it does look amazing, exactly like the real deal. I'm pleased with it
