Great for my daughter, she loves it!
I'd say this climbing frame is great for kids up to 6 years old and is very sturdy once built.I had planned to build my own version, but once you have bought all the parts, these kits are actually really good value!Delivery was very good, it comes on a large pallet that you will need a garage space to store until building. The build took me a full day, (I'm quite a handy guy with this kind of thing and I have all the tools already.Someone who isn't quite as handy as I could easily take 2 days to complete). You will need a good driver (impact driver may be better) sander, Drill long 8mm drill bit, tape measure and a spanner set, also a spirit level would be a good idea.Adaptions, my garden is on a slope so I had to adapt the angles of the swing support arms slightly.I recommend building it in the spot you want it to be, rather than building in a garage and moving to a location as I did.Instructions... They are good, but I did find them a little confusing, I ended up mainly going by the diagrams which are very accurate, just like a huge kinder egg toy really! All in all, I'd say this is a great product at a great price, just be aware it may take you a day or two to build!

an excellent investment
This was ordered when the government locked us down for COVID-19 and closed the public play parks. It has served as an absolute godsend for us by occupying our 2 3-year-olds. I'd seen a neighbour with a similar construction in their garden and they said it had lasted them 7 years so far and was still going strong (and was still popular) which I took to be a good recommendation and suggestive of great value for money.I built this on my own pretty much without help, by following the instructions. I think my partner helped me to line up the swing bar but other than that, it was a 1-man job. I had 2 electric drills, one which I used as a screwdriver and one as a drill and I think this sped things up immensely. It took me around 16 hours over 2 days because it comes as a flat pack. There were 2 bits of wood separating the kit from the pallet which I noticed were split. I was concerned about these but the transpired to be surplus to requirements. I actually used one to create a lip at the top of the climbing wall/ladder which wasn't in the plan. Since election some 6 months ago, there are other cracks appearing in the wood but this is to be expected with age and weathering. There is also some play developing which I guess is due to shrinkage and I need to get out and tighten things up (this is recommended in the instructions). The instructions also suggest to sand everything down before you start. I ignored this advice as I had a limited window for construction and wanted to make sure it was put together before our kids came home... but it did make sanding the sharp edges much more difficult once the whole thing was put together so if time is not of the essence, I would definitely recommend sanding down any sharp edges before you start building. The finished article is very solidly built and great for young kids but in my mind it needed just a little more support to prevent it from rocking along its lengthways axis so I added an additional supporting strut made out of a fence post to prevent this longitudinal shearing motion. It does need anchoring to the ground and we plan to put bark down to soften the ground but it's perfectly usable on grass and pretty stable for little kids even without anchors. The accessories are surprisingly popular- the steering wheel and telescopes- and the slide is great but does flex a fair bit so leave it for the kids if you want it to last! The swings are a little unstable for small kids who are learning to swing, as the seats have a tendency to rotate about the rope, thus resulting in a tipping motion, but other than that, I've no complaints. It was and remains an excellent investment.

Good quality wood, no difficulties building it mostly solo, great service from Wickey, kids love it!
I assembled most of this myself, with the wife only helping at the points where I needed am extra set of hands, took less than a day. Get a speed square if you haven't got one, and make a jig for the drilling, it'll save you a lot of time. When you get the the roof, only put the bottom two rows of slats on, it's really heavy to lift and manoeuvre to the required height otherwise.Delivery was quick (especially during the pandemic). When it arrived some parts were missing (climbing rocks and I ordered the Wickey groundsheet at the same time that was also missing). Contacted Wickey through Amazon and they couldn't be more helpful, quickly sent out replacements without any fuss. The wood is good quality. I can see it lasting as long as I'll need it to entertain the kids.I got the screw in anchors, fitted 5 of them (one on each corner and one in the center directly below the swing beam) and concreted them in as well... It's going no where. You're going to need a lot of sand for the sand pit, at least 100kg.It'd be nice if it came with a lid for the sand pit. That's my only real niggle. But it's easy enough to build one yourself out of some decking board.Oh, and the kids love it!
