Great 8 way splitter used for security cameras

I purchased this so that I could run 2 separate aquarium lights from just a single power supply unit and also share a single automated dimmer, instead of needing a separate power supply and dimmer for each light. It worked wonders!

I bought this splitter for my soundboks to use led strips and while at a party the spillitter just melted the copper core was exposed. I got a refund, but if you arent drawing 8 amps over it or 250w it might be allright
