Product description This professional grade oximeter displays Sp02 and heart pulse rate plus pulse waveform and a bar graph display. The high definition full colour screen is easy to read and can be rotated in 4 directions to allow easy monitoring. The cms50e has an easy to use menu for function setting and is lightweight and compact, weighing less than 50g with the battery in. It has low power consumption with up to 24 hour continuous use and has a battery low indicator to alert you to recharge the battery. The cms50e switches off automatically when not in use to save power. It can be charged with the USB cable connected to a computer, or via the mains plug. The internal memory stores up to 24 hours of data. The software allows real time monitoring of data, or transfer of stored data that can then be analysed, stored and printed if required. An alarm can be set for upper and lower limits for Sp02 and heart pulse rate across the whole measurement range for each parameter. There is an optional alarm if the finger falls out of the device. The audible pulse sound can be turned on or off and the brightness of the display is adjustable. The display can be changed through 4 directions. Suitable for all adult finger sizes, but may not work with children. The device measures 5.7cm x 3.2cm x 3cm so is pocket-sized. Works well as Oximeter, the software looks a little outdated but it does it's job. Very difficult to use whilst sleeping as it will fall off your finger. I tried putting a sock over my hand to keep it on - which worked a few times but it was a little uncomfortable.

Works well but failed within a year or so
When this works it works very well, when the first failed I had been so pleased with it I thought it was bad luck and bought a second. On bothe occasions the screen failed in just over a year and this is not a cheap instrument. I would not now buy another

Oximeter CMS50E
Worked well at first, but then the display failed and made it unusable.A quick google around showed lots of purchasers complaining about the failure of the display. It becomes so dim as to be unreadable, even on the maximum brightness setting. It's a pity because the device otherwise has much to recommend it.

Good for a while.. but screen died.
After some time screen brightness faded to unreadable. Was good until that happened.

GREAT--at first BUT--OLED display failed after 17months--the Chinese maker CONTEC weren't interested--an expensive mistake. Will get a different make, as used by my doctor.
