The design shape is fine size-wise (I have a 15 lb terrier who's about 18" tall who was able to get in, turn around and get out fine) and fits a standard sized bed pillow on the bottom. BUT ... the zipper is a cheap plastic zipper and was already mis-threading while I was setting it up. It smells chemical-y. The bed cushion is also some sort of cheap plush and was already coming apart in shipment (pieces of "plush" had rubbed off and were stuck to kennel walls). It was an immediate return for me.

I had been searching for yrs for a covered dog bed that would fit my anxious 15 lb. Maltese/Havanese. It’s perfect! I bought 2 for the twenty two? each. We put an old pillowcase & then puppy pad on the cushion to keep it cleaner. Easy to zip up. Would be great for travel. Shelters could use these for their more anxious pets.

My dog loves it! She’s a medium-sized dog (40lbs). I first bought the large but it was too small so I ordered the XL and it’s perfect! It’s like a cozy little den but plenty of room for her to stretch out and turn around. Not sure a large dog would fit but it’s great for my hound mix!
