Toddler mealtimes can be a battleground. And for busy parents, time for preparing food is in short supply. The UK's number-one expert on feeding children, Annabel Karmel, is on hand to help. In this new Quick and Easy book she offers 130 recipes that can be rustled up in minutes. With an eye on nutritional content and appeal for children, as well as speediness for hassled mums and dads, she solves mealtimes in an instant. With plenty of tips and tricks to encourage your child to eat, from savoury to sweet, for breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner, Annabel's Quick and Easy Toddler Recipes will make for mellow mealtimes. Review: Quick and Easy Toddler Recipes - A wonderful book, full of quick and easy recipes. Each page has a colour photo showing tempting meals and exciting ideas for presentation. Really good recipe ideas; some new and a few we're all familiar with but when you're stuck for time with a busy toddler, it's a life saver to dip in and find an easy nutritional meal to prepare. I bought this book for my daughter to use with her toddler but the recipes look so good, so healthy and so easy, I might get one for myself! Review: ... a few of AK's books but this is my favourite, far better than the Family Cookbook - I now own a few of AK's books but this is my favourite, far better than the Family Cookbook, in my opinion. Shame most recipes cannot be frozen as I'm a working mum and would love to prepare meals at the weekend just to quickly pop them in the microwave for the hubby or sitter, but my 2 year old loves these and so do I. I even marked the fave ones and keep coming back to them time and time again. One other negative are the shortcuts, which I'm not sure are totally healthy, as Annabel encourages to get ready made tomato sauce for one of the dishes - chicken parmigiana, only to have a full page devoted to a variety of pasta sauces in another section. All in all, great variety, simple and nutritious meals that appeal to little taste buds and nice pictures of finalised meals to aspire to.

Tasty, quick recipes the whole family can enjoy.
I've used AK's books when weaning my LO who's now 18 months. I wanted a book with some different recipes in it to try for him, and also foods that were healthy and tasty enough for the whole family to enjoy. The book is good quality, plenty of pictures of the finished recipes which I personally like. Husband flicked through it and said he'd eat almost all of the recipes in it and he's fussier than my toddler! Have tried a few recipes and all have had the seal of approval from both of my fussy eaters, which is nothing short of a miracle! Only downside is that if you have a few of her books already some of the recipes will be very familiar, hence 4 stars.

Okay
This is an Okay book with some good ideas but there is a lot in here that if you are already a competent cook you won't find particularly inspiring and are probably already doing for your toddler. I will stil dip in and out of it for the odd recipe but I don't think I will use it that much, it is pretty basic. I also bought the "Good Food: Recipes for Kids" by Angela Nilsen cook book which I prefer that has simple but nutrious meals that I hadn't thought of. I used Annabel Karmel's other books on weaning like a bible but this one was not as helpful as I had hoped.

Full of lovely recipes
I am very pleased with this book. I have a 14 month old toddler and I was beginning to find I was cooking him the same meals on repeat and so I bought this for a bit of inspiration which is exactly what it provides. The meals are clearly split into different sections such as pasta, fish, breakfasts etc and each section has lots of lovely ideas. I have just today made him the prawn pilau rice which was very quick and easy to prepare, used a new ingredient my son has not tried before (prawns) and which he thoroughly enjoyed. I recommend this book to any parents looking for some new ideas to try with their toddlers.

Can’t recommend it highly enough!
Honestly this is a brilliant book and perfect if you have no clue about cooking (like me). I am a young mom and pretty much got thrown into the deep end with no life skills when I had my daughter. This book however has taught me so many kitchen skills and it’s super easy to make some great healthy meals. They’re rather basic meals too and there’s a great mix if you’re not that familiar with many ingredients. 5* would 100% recommend.

Just brilliant!
Love this book, I never write reviews but felt I had to! the recipes are lovely and really tasty and best of all are simple and quick which you obviously need with a toddler!! And my little girl loves most of them. I've found some of annabel karmels other books a bit faffy and complicated but this one is so simple! A must have for all mummy's with toddlers, or Daddy's!!

I'm always lazy about writing reviews but I love, love
I'm always lazy about writing reviews but I love, love, love this book! I have the fussiest 3 year old in the world but he has eaten everything I've made and my husband can't wait to get home for his tea! Easy to make but outstanding results. Don't let the comments about toast and soldiers put you off, that's a snack idea and there are loads of wonderful main meal recipes.

A God send for picky eaters.
My first born son ate everything that I made and I was under the impression that feeding a little one was very easy. After my 2nd born arrived I was in for a shock! Annabel Karmel's book Quick and Easy Toddler Recipes could not have come at a better time. The recipes are both easy to make and very tasty. Definitely a must if you have a fussy eater! The recipes can also be made for the whole family.

Easy to cook and very tasty
My little boy is quite a fussy eater, but he has eaten everything I have cooked from this book so far, as have my husband and I. The food is easy to prepare and very tasty, even without adding salt. As we are vegetarians, the middle section (on fish and meat) is not really relevant for us, but the pasta, breakfast, veggie and dessert recipes are amazing. I have also bought the Family Cookbook, for when he is a bit older, and the recipes in there look amazing too.
