Is it like corn flour used for indian cooking making roti

no it is not i have just looked up recipes for Indian roti they use wheat flour NOT the same corn meal is yellow and grainy not suitable for your rotis having said that it does make great corn bread look it up you can buy it in smaller packs in Holland and Barretts

It's not as grainy as semolina, it's smooth. You can use it as a substitute for flour. I made a lovely lemon and polenta cake and you can make corn bread. You also make polenta which is an Italian staple that is grilled or fried

Not as fine as flour. It is finer than semolina...a bit like fine salt.

It says it may contain gluten but I have had no problems with it
