My nephew first introduced me to this game. He had used it when learning his times tables and loved it. As its name suggests, it truly is brilliant! The cards are small and brightly coloured so it is an instant hit with children who like visual learning, but as the game also involves dealing the cards and saying the times table out loud, it is perfect for children who enjoy all sensory learning. I tried it out with my tutees and soon found it was the first thing that they asked for during our lessons and I would be in trouble with them if I ever turned up without it! The structure of the game ensures success in times tables but it also enables children to be creative and to take ownership of their learning. Most of the time they forget they are working as they are having so much fun. If your child is struggling with times tables or needs encouragement to practise them, this is definitely worth buying.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. My 8 year old daughter is struggling with her times tables. We can't work out if she just gives up easily or is genuinely struggling. We've tried the songs and the books and a chart taped on the toilet wall. Very reluctant and nothing sticks. This however, seems to be working. She doesn't look forward to doing it but doesn't rail against it. I've tried it and it's very quick to get your head around. There is a youtube clip which lasts all of two minutes which I suggest you look at. I tried to post it here but posts with links get rejected. I would recommend supervising them until or unless you're sure they're going to do it properly. She's tried to cut corners a bit and do it a little differently, but the way in the video is the best I think. It won't be instant, we are just working our way through the pack the first time, but will revisit the numbers and repeat them before moving onto the next. Not sure if that's the best way, but I'm excited for her to learn them!

This Tables Game for recommended to me by my Daughters Teacher, as its something she uses with the students & it hopefully will help my Daughter to stop struggling so much with remembering her times tables.We practiced once when we got them & I can definitely see that it will help, as its so catchy once you say them out, but I think it may take a while for her to get to grips with them still, she really isn't any kind of Times Tables genius! 😄

This is a lovely, high quality product in a sturdy box. I regularly use this resource with children during tutoring. The bright colours are engaging and the children find this a fun method of learning their times tables.

Once you get the hang of the game, which I easily managed through some YouTube videos,it is a very useful and fun game for children to consolidate their learning of times tables.

A little more bitty than I realized but it works and we have great fun with it. My Granddaughter loves it.
