Solitary Bee Tubes Wooden (Pack of 50) BTW1

My first order and really pleased. Arrived quickly with a good variety of diameters.I had to cut them to length for my bee houses but that just means I got twice as many!Bring on the bees now!

I bought these as I wanted to make a bird box for my garden loving girlfriend. It went wrong and so has become a bee hotel instead (saved!!) these arrived very well packaged and protected in recyclable packaging. Came in a variety of sizes/ tube thicknesses but all the same length. All very good condition and all look very strong, no where near similar to gardening cane you use to hold up plants 👍.I bought two sets to fill the bird-box-cum-bee-hotel and all round I’m very happy with these. If I ever intend to build a bee hotel on purpose and I don’t make mistakes and it becomes a bird box 🤪 I’ll be buying these again.

I’ve just ordered these for a second time. I bought them last year when I set up a bee hotel for the first time. I had never done this before so I wasn’t sure how well it would work, but it was really popular with the bees in my garden! I had eight cells filled by Winter.They are all slightly different widths which is definitely a plus- some bees are bigger than others, and we had some narrow cells occupied as well as the larger ones.Looking forward to this year’s bee house activity!

Various diameters. all tubes unblocked. i cut them down 2cm using angle grinder and blocked one end using masking tape. Bees seem to prefer cane to cardboard. they advise bringing indoors in the winter...this is a tip i didnt know.

I buy this product each year for my Mason Bee box. Guaranteed to be unblocked which is a bonus. I do have to saw about an inch off each for what I believe is the 10cm ideal but that’s no big deal. Recommended.

These tubes make a first class Bee House, and for other insects as well, of course (I'm not racist). They are strong, good value and will help make a lot of bees very happy.

The tubes are good enough to make nests for soitary bees from and give palce for the winter and construct a lodge type construction from to put in the garden in the green way.

Consistent size and length made them suitable to fit in depth of my bug hotel making project.

These bee tubes were exactly what I was looking for in creating my "bug" hotel. I was able to cut them down with a regular hand saw to the size that I wanted. If I need more bee tubes, I'll be ordering these ones again.
