Superb little amp
Blown away by this little practice amp. Handles the lower register well at wife friendly volumes and makes shedding new tunes fun again.

Good little amp
The amp is a nice looking thing, compact and easy to use. It's a lot lighter than I imagined so the build quality remains too be seen.We found that with the gain on low, the master volume isn't really loud enough to hear the bass guitar enough so we have to have the gain to about half before the main volume feels loud enough. As such if you're looking for a clean sound that you can hear well this might not be for you as you will need to have high gain to get any decent level of volume.

Surprisingly good.
Had for a year and still works. More than loud enough to play along to backing tracks on the television in my living room and annoy my neighbour.

Perfect (really) for home practice on the cheap - to be clear, not for gigging
So if you're looking at this product the chances are you're wanting to be able to have a little amp to practice bass at home, and ideally you wouldn't spend a fortune. So I'll get to the point:1. Does it sound good? Yes - actually the tone is great, I do not use the drive channel as that's not my thing personally. However the clean channel really sounds like my bass :)2. How loud is it? Loud enough to not be able to hear your bass acoustically BUT (and this is a good thing) you need to be close to the amp and it needs to be facing you really. This means you can play at what seems like a decent volume, without annoying anyone ele (mostly)I crank the volume to full, then add gain about half way - all good.3. Does it run ok on batteries? Yes - in fact that is the only way I'm using it. I have good quality (2300ma) re-chargeable batteries and it works and sounds great.4. Is it worth it? Yes with a but. It really depends on what your need is. If this is to be your amp and you hope to gig in pubs etc, then this is NOT the product for you. However, if you are looking for something JUST to use around the house, get a decent tone and not make everyone around you crazy, then YES - this is perfect. It's crazy that we've gotten to a point with technology that something so small and cheap can perform so well.5 stars from me (for the very specific use case of just around the house)

Looks great,
I wanted it to work because it looks great but it really doesn’t work, even as a sofa/kitchen bass practice companion. It starts bottoming out way before it’s loud enough to be useful. I scored it a little high for its looks which I love.

Fantastic Little Amp
I felt the need to leave a review as some of the reviews I've read are needlessly negative. This amp is not going to win any prizes for use at gigs (but there's nothing to stop you micing it up), but as a jamming or busking amp it's FANTASTIC! it's easy to set up, sounds are readily dialled in and you're away. I use this amp with 5 & 6 string active basses and it handles them with ease, so if that's what's holding you back don't let it.I bought this primarily because I wanted a go anywhere amp, that wasn't too heavy and didn't rely solely on mains power this little puppy fits that bill perfectly, although I haven't trialled battery longevity yet (I'll update you when I get the chance).Long story short great little bass amp, suprisingly good sounds, and a LOT louder than expected. 5 stars from me and a personal recommendation

Small, light cheap and loud ...but....
I have several guitar and bass amplifiers, but this one is getting more use than any of them. I play bass with a ukulele band and find this tiny amp quite adequate for small gigs and practice sessions with around 30 uke players. There is not much variety of tone available however, but it's ok.The main problem is that there is annoying mains hum when using the mains adaptor. This does not occur when running from the batteries.I have tried using other power supplies and have the same problem. It appears to be a design faultHowever, for the money paid I can overlook this problem (just). The case is cheap plastic and it looks like a toaster, but it works

No fuss, no frills but a great little amp
This little amp makes a decent sound and, while it isn't enough for gigging with, is perfect for practicing. You can get it quite loud upstairs without making people down stairs have to listen to you ;)Although the amp is bass-specific, it plays an ordinary electric guitar fine too. Works great with the Joyo Chorus Pedal too. There's no tuner function on this, but I still rely on my old Korg tuner so not an issue for me,Big wins are the fact that it can use AA batteries, or the supplied power cable. I'd rate it higher than the Orange Crush 3A I bought for my daughter to practice on.
