Nice light with a few adjustments
I was very excited to find this light. Other options seemed cheap and flimsy for the height I needed. I took a chance on this one since it had good reviews. I got the light steady enough but I had to balance it just right. It definitely could use some manufacturing adjustments. If you're handy you could totally do it yourself. Basically, the base needs a thicker part of wood that the pole fits into to make it sturdy without trying to do a weird balancing act. The weight of the planter pot holds the base down great if you have a bigger pot. However, you may want to add a thicker, solid piece of wood at the end where the hole is and drill your own hole size for the pole to rest in to make it more stable. I may end up doing this myself if it doesn't stay stable over time. Time will tell. I love the goose neck flexibility. As another reviewer stated, I only have 2 light options when it's advertised for 3 light options so it's only getting 4 stars. I'm going to see how my plants do and may buy another because like I said, it would be stable at the tallest height if you make some adjustments.

Power control unit is not reliable
I purchased two of these lights over a month ago. I turn them on and off once a day. One of the power buttons has started malfunctioning, i.e, does not turn on when power button is pressed. I literally have to unplug it from the wall outlet and back in again a few times to get it to power up. The other unit does not turn off sometimes when the power button is pressed.

Not quite as pictured, still satisfied.
Only removing one star, but in the images the wooden base appears to have a stain or finish on it, that is not what you will recieve. It's unfinished wood and the hole for the pole of the light on mine, has globs of excess glue. I'm not actually bothered as this was not a "display" piece for me, I solely purchased it for its functionality.I purchased the two pack, the one I need to put in use immediately I actually had a good cover for the base from a previous lamp. I will be finishing the second one, which has a much nicer glue job, as the base will be visible where I'm placing it in my home.Great light, plants went a couple days in the dark, they've been under this light for hours and are already perking up.

App and timer are useless
My plants are growing nicely but this lamp turns on and off whenever it feels like it.

Grow Light For Indoor Plants
I like this grow light! I searched awhile for a grow light that is adjustable, has a gooseneck, and can set a timer for more than 12 hours. This one has 3 light switch modes on the controller, 3, 6 and 12 hour timer, and the on-off switch of course, although I prefer to use the app for all. The app lets you set the timer for more then 12 hours. The light and app both work fine. DO NOT use both the controller and the app at the same time. As you can see, I have the light adjusted to the shortest length, but it does extend to 60 inches. My plant is doing very well. I do recommend this grow light.

Bulbs in January
Well, imagine my surprise when I discovered that the plug is usb and not standard two prong! So if you are planning on plugging into a wall outlet, be sure to have an adapter. Edit: I overlooked the included adapter in so it’s ready to go! Contrary to other customers, I do not find the stand to be flimsy. No printed instructions so it took me a while to clue in on scanning the QR code on the back of the controller for the app download. Certainly not needed as manual control is fine. Having to register yet another device online is probably for advertising promotions. This is a disposable unit as no way to replace the light. Any home hydroponics grower knows that grow lights lose intensity over time but then this is an inexpensive unit and fills a niche for some instant indoor spring.

Appears to work as expected
This light seems to provide plants with what they need. I’ve put several different plants under it that didn’t seem to be getting quite enough sunlight in their location. Every plant that has been placed under it has perked up and started growing and flowering more. I’m not real fond of the placement of the remote on the cord as I couldn’t place it several different places. In the end I did find a place where it would work and has been working fine

Exactly what I wanted until it broke
There was a lot that I liked about this light, the brightness adjustment, the timer, how big it is- all great. Sadly it randomly stopped working after only a few months of (gentle) consistent use. Not sure if it's a fluke or just cheaply made. These days though it's most likely the latter.
