Got this for my Dad as a father's day gift. Really nice quality, as someone who's hobby is woodwork I'm sure my dad will love it.

Ok. It’s wooden, it’s quartz, it’s super cheap and you can’t expect a lot.But, it’s surprisingly comfortable, very light and quite refined considering the price.I do own some extremely nice watches (Rolex, Omega) and do enjoy this as part of my rotation to get people talking or just to commemorate my marriage, as it was a 5th anniversary present (wood!)

Lovely lightweight watch

I bought this because I like attractive natural materials and I've just owned two watches where the leather straps have both broken within months and I loathe replacing the fiddly spring bars and thought great, a wooden strap that won't stretch and because there's not so much metal, maybe I won't get an allergic reaction either. It looks very nice, it feels comfortable to wear, quite lightweight and it's very much cheaper than other branded wooden watches that are six or seven times more expensive than this one. It's not just 'wood effect' or veneer, the watch body is actually made of the same wood. There's no back-light so you won't see it in the dark and there's no date calendar. Other than this, it's a really simple watch that doesn't look tacky or cheap but I doubt anyone would want to steal it either.What others have said about removing links is true, I had to remove 2 links for it to fit my wrist perfectly, the tool works and yes you do need a hammer to tap out the pins and a pair of pliers to pull it out from the other side. Just a tip, I found sticky-tack was a suitable medium to both hold the watch in place without a clamp and allow the pin to sink out the other side, taking about 30 minutes in total or adjust the strap before wearing. The wood is delicate, so you need to make sure the tool is perfectly aligned to the pin - I managed to pierce the tool through a wooden link and it splintered into two, fortunately, I don't need it but there are no spare links provided in the box, should you ever want to pass it on to someone else and it's quite a chore to expand again, but possible depending how determined you are.Update: the wood is starting to appear scuffed and a little dented and one of the wooden links connected nearest to the watch body has a small chunk missing. It still looks good from a distance, it's still functional and I'm not so bothered if I lose this compared to others.Final update: Watch body has fractured and broken after just 8 weeks of regular use and I've edited my rating to reflect this.This watch might be suitable if you want a cheap disposable watch to take on holiday but it clearly has no longevity built into it.

Ich habe die Uhr für mich selber bestellt, weil mir ein großes Zifferblatt gefällt und natürlich Holzuhren. Habe mir ein paar Glieder aus dem Armband raus genommen und jetzt passt alles. Es war ganz leicht die Glieder raus zu machen, weil das passende kleine Werkzeug dabei ist.

Si sta avvicinando il Natale, tempo di regali, come ogni anno cerco di anticiparmi per non farmi prendere dal panico degli ultimi giorni e cercando su Amazon ho trovato questi orologi della Sentai molto carini e dal costo davvero abbordabile ed ho deciso di acquistarne due, uno completamente in legno e l’altro con cinturino in pelle, un pochino più femminile.La realizzazione generale è buona, meccanismo giapponese, cinturino con sgancio rapido, batteria con durate dichiarata di 24 mesi (da verificare) e il vetro minerale antigraffio. Si tratta di un orologio solo tempo (senza datario) del quale non posso dare un giudizio sulla durata poiché lo terrò inscatolato ancora per quasi due mesi, l’unico test che ho effettuato per adesso è quello della precisione dell’ora, l’ho impostata e dopo una settimana l’orario non ha subito variazioni ne per eccesso ne per difetto.Segnalo soltanto che il fondo dell’orologio non presenta alcuna incisione, che invece sono visibili nelle foto nell’inserzione di vendita.Disponibile in varie essenze, è sicuramente un bell’oggetto per chi è amante del genere che al prezzo di vendita attuale (26,99 Ottobre 2017) merita le cinque stelle, allego alcune foto sperando di esservi stato utile per un eventuale acquisto!
