I am really pleased with these lights, I purchased them over a month ago and they have come on every day. They give a great warm flickering light. Once you turn them on the first night they then come on same time every day and turn off after 6 hours, so mine are coming on at 17:30 and turning off at 23:30. I was worried that I would have to replace the batteries regularly but so far still going strong. Great that they can stay outside in whatever weather, the top has two little holes to stop them from filling with water. So please I am thinking of buying them as a gift for someone else. Would definitely recommend them as I love mine.

Loved these lights when I first bought them. They’re surprisingly realistic once it’s dark, and because they’re made from plastic they won’t melt when left sitting in the sunshine. Good battery life, too. Lasted for about 6 months on timer setting with one set of 2xC batteries.All the more disappointing that they started failing exactly a week after the 2yr manufacturer’s guarantee ran out. First the large candle wouldn’t switch on even with a set of new batteries. A week later the other two snuffed it. The smallest must admittedly have been sitting in some water, so that’s probably my own fault - but the two other candles show no sign of any corrosion (I even unscrewed the bottom and looked at the inside - looks like new and all the contacts are intact), so it’s likely it’s the LED bulbs that are failing. Very disappointing. Going in the bin. Makes me less likely to buy from Lights4Fun again, though.

The candles are well made, and work really well, just as advertised, I don't have a remote with mine and haven't used outside yet. However batteries have been in for several weeks and still going strong. The only small niggle I have is all three candles are the same shape apart from their height, and when viewed from above have a square shape ,

Bought these for garden lanterns as real candles melted (obviously) and it took me an age to scrape off the wax with a fish slice. Not a huge deal of light but then who wants small aircraft landing in the garden anyhow. More a gentle ambient glow, perfect for getting quietly sloshed on pink gin by. They flicker too which is rather plessing, unless that's the effect of the pink gin of courseSo impressed was I that I bought another set and who knows, there may be a third set in the not too distant future, should I want to form a short runway

I originally purchased one set, but now I have three! I wanted some ambient lighting for my bedroom without the fear of setting light to any soft furnishings! These are great. They're safe and give off a lovely gentle flickering glow. I've spent a fortune on C batteries, mind you, but well worth it for the safety factor alone. Very practical and portable. I highly recommend.
