The blade refills are great! Silicone “rubber”, it has a good feel to it. It does squeak a little near the peak of the wiper sweep and the windshield is relatively dry. It’s a small inconvenience considering it cleans the windshield of water well. There are some quirks to understand. It says it’s four blades. You’ll need two to replace the wiper refills for one car. Second, it’s the size of the longer blade. For the shorter passenger side blade, cut it to length with a scissors. To remove the blade assembly from the car, a flat head screwdriver is useful to pop open the tab holding the blade in place. Tilt the top of the blade towards the front of the car, then pull down on the assembly to free it. At the base of the blade, the side is normally down when the blades are wiping, pull on that end to pull out the blade refill. Notice the two flat stainless steel strips that are part of the assembly with the refill. Further notice that the end you pulled has notches near the end. Further notice the curve of the strip. You’ll need to reassemble the blade with the new refill, maintaining the proper curve of the strip, and the notched end at the base. I had no problem with disassembly and reassembling with these pointers in mind.

WORST EVER - I am an engineer, and I hoped for the best - but these are the worst. Streaky, noisy and shudder across a wet windshield like a 15yo blade that's been out in the sun. Lasted maybe 4 months or less on a camry lightly driven around 10k miles in the northeast. Needless to say I bought different rubber to replace them. The blades start tearing apart in no time, couldn't believe my eyes. Thought I'd save money but not with these.

These are a good value, seem to be resistant to UV rays, and have performed well. Installation isn't too bad.

Purchased for an 03 Passat GLX Both the compatibility and fitment are good, although you will likely need to cut to size depending on your wiper arm length. Take your time when installing otherwise you'll end up doing what I did and wind up having the center of the wiper not making contact with the windshield. The quality is great, absolutely no noise when in use and honestly, compared to spending upwards of $30 for new wipers this is a far better choice. Simple, cost effective and requires nothing more than a small amount of time, patience and a screwdriver to aid with the removal of clips. I can't quite comment on the durability or longevity yet, but when comparing to new OEM these appeared to be much better.

Unlike the wiper blade in the description image, my original blade was held a long metal strip on each side and several clips along the length that pinch the blade in the gap above the one where the metal strips are. It took extreme force and strong grip to pull the old one out and even more to install this one. I had to force the blade through all the clips it had already gone through in while aligning it with the next one. I used a flat blade screwdriver to push the blade under the clips at some locations. The ordeal took about 10 minutes. I would not have been able to do it in the cold rain. Once I got it in, it worked fine. I'm pleased that this product avoids landfilling full wiper blade assemblies. I noticed that the other blade on my car uses a different method of holding the blade in place; maybe it'll be easier when its time comes.

Did not fit my 2018 Mazda 3 despite showing up in the search results when filtering. The second grooves are too narrow.
