This book is not the book related to the Movie or Novel “The Shack”
The title and cover of this self published book have nothing to do with it. I was wanting “The Shack”. This book is marketed to deceive.

The merits of the Shack
I liked the portrayal of Justin and his understanding of Natilie and the supernatural and his acceptance of his gift but he new when to tell the story so that it made sense to others. I was glad to see Pete and Anna get what they deserved. It was a story that was hard to put down and I read it cover to cover.

Confusing
Bought this book thinking I was getting the book based on the movie. Found out wrong. I agree with another reader. How could this book have the same name? Could hardly put it down but cant figure out why it was called The Shack when there was not shack. Very weird but a good tween read.

THE SHACK
I was encouraged several years ago to read this book. I had never been much of a reader at that point but I think I can say that now I'm an avid reader. I love thrillers and mysteries but while waiting for the next book from two of my favorite authors I decided to read this. It was very good. I also love the paranormal and found a lot of enjoyment reading The Shack. The characters were vey real in my mind. I just would like to know Anna's motivation for killing her twin sister. I have a set of twins and there is nothing they won't do for the other. I was also entranced with Amelia. Good read.

God finally has her say
This was the most refreshing fiction. The story wrestles with very deep theological questions (judgement, punishment, religion, Christianity) in a most understandable way. I marvel at the wisdom of the author. Like many reviewers, I cried and laughed out loud."The Shack" was recommended by my friends who also have studied Scripture and Theology. My paper copy will now be passed around to my friends wrestling with "the great sadness" of sin and evil in their lives.

Good Entertainment
This is a good story about a journey through adolescence. It had many insights into many of the struggles adolescents go through. More importantly, it highlights what makes good relationships and bad. The protagonists relation with his mother is especially insightful and “nice”. This makes for relaxing as well as insightful reading.

This is a good middle schooler book
The book had a lot of excitement that I think any tween would enjoy. It had a bunch of unbelievable parts but that's what a kid would enjoy. It had good flow through out the book, plenty of action and just a few grammar issues.

What can I say but a very very good book.
I just finish reading it so I can't hardly even give a review as it's all swirling in my head still . I guess what I can say is, thanks for writing it . I could barely put it down .

NOT THE BOOK BASED ON THE FILM. TITLE AND COVER HAS BEEN COPIED.
I bought this book in error as the cover and title are the same as the William P. Young story I thought I was buying. A blatant misrepresentation, it would seem, to gain sales, as the 'shack in the snow covered wilderness' , depicted on the cover, feature NOWHERE in this badly constructed teenage angst nonsense. I would give no stars if I could.Luckily Amazon issued a refund.

Misleading title
I truly believe it is a deliberate ploy to sell books calling it the shack. I bought it expecting it to be The Shack by WM Young. It isn't.
