A wonderfully written, compassionate and DIFFERENT book to enhance any marriage, partnership or relationship. My husband and I are reading it together and I shall be recommending it far and wide. The five secrets need to be out there and practiced by every couple who want to be in an authentic loving relationship.

I love books that are able to teach me things that will make me a better “me”. Even more so, I love books that are able to do that for me in a way that keeps me engaged and puts me in the mindset that I simply can’t put down the book until I finish it.The Go-Giver Marriage has achieved both of those wonderful ideals for me.It is a fantastic parable. It is an easy to follow “how to” book. I’m writing this review before I’ve actually finished the book. That’s because it’s something to really read carefully, to digest all the nuances of the story and then apply the practical tips. The story about the mythical couple, within the story about the contemporary couple in the first part of the book is compelling and poetic. It’s use is genius in my opinion. The second part of the book has very specific, simple but profound exercises to do to lead you towards BEING the perfect spouse or partner, not finding one-or molding one for yourself out of the existing one you have-tempting as it always may be! You will definitely enjoy this book and it will change the way you look at any relationship. Really.

This book was a super easy and entertaining read in addition to having such depth and truth about it. I love how the authors used a nonfiction story to bring in the larger messages. So it’s not overwhelming but makes these big truths feel more manageable. They also include real life examples and how to apply the 5 secrets while keeping it real. You can truly feel that they have embodied these truths and lived (and are still living) them. Which makes this book so authentic. I’ve also used many of these ideas in my almost 20 year marriage and it was nice to have them so concisely put and explained. There is a Q/A at the end that is a definite read too. In my opinion, this is a great book for those just beginning a relationship and their journey in self growth and for those who’ve been on the journey for years and are needing a “tune up.” Thank you for sharing your wisdom with the world! :)

My daughter and her husband are reading this book. While I was visiting ...I read the book....now my husband is reading and I also bought and sent to my brother and his wife! Fantastic read! And I learned a lot.
