Johnson'sExtra Guard House Flea Spray, 400 ml

It's quite easy to use this spray and that's what I like about it. The can lasts a while too. It smells pleasant and seems to work. Unfortunately I've learned a lot during our "fleagate" and I now know that it takes at least two weeks to get shut of the little bleepers! This spray contains a "growth regulator" meaning when the eggs hatch they can't grow to adulthood and lay eggs! It kills the existing fleas and larvae but the eggs are quite robust, so yep you have to wait. It takes vacuuming every day and the washing machine on a hot wash for bedding etc. But after that time has passed they go away. Needs doing every six months and maybe more during flea season. It's good value for money and make sure to keep your feline friends away whilst you spray as it's toxic to cats - I wait twelve hours before I let our cat back in the room and it's seems to be safe then. Sprayed rug and cushions no sign of any fleas now. It has a strong smell ! so spray ur furnishings outside on a dry calm day if you can, or open your windows.

This is a room spray, not for using on your pet. I got this on previous vet recommendation to spray the house as a backup to on-pet treatment, and it seems to work well.

Smells horrible, but it should really..It seems effective, not totally, but does kill fleas.Use with other items such as tablets, pipettes and flea shampoo.It doesn’t last long, and is quite expensive.
