I brought a second hand pump, but it was lovely to buy the pump parts separately for hygiene reasons. They worked well, did the job!

The spectra pump is one of the main reasons I was able to breastfeed my little one. For various reasons I had problems with feeding and my milk supply in the early days after giving birth. I was referred to an infant feeding specialist in hospital who recommended this pump to stimulate my supply. I had been using the medela pump in hospital but was horrified at the price. This is a hospital grade pump at a fraction of the price and consistently allows me to pump 4oz in 15 mins. I know all women are different but other mums in my nct group have also been delighted at the amount they can express in such a short period of time. Well worth the money and a good investment if you are planning on having more than one child.

This is the 4th or 5th time I have had to replace die to dropping it on floor and the top bit smashes into the little hole and is unsalvagable and snapped clean off some will say don't be so careless but sometimes it just drops on the floor and you can't catch it in time

I'm very surprised that there is no silicone breast shield, but the plastic goes directly to skin. Not sure how comfortable it would be to use it.

Delivered really quickly, which is important when you need to pump! All parts included as described, and works perfectly. Xl is the right size for larger breasts and nipples,but bigger than I expected. Bit fiddley to keep it one when you start. Once the pump is on a higher volume it stays in place more easily, but I have ordered a breast pump bra to help to keep it in place.

My dog ate some parts and so I needed this replacement - works perfectly.
