The media could not be loaded.  I am new to watercolour and this is my first attempt at a portrait. Nothing like throwing yourself into something blind!I've doodled before and just use cheap brushes. To tell you the truth, I've never used an expensive brush so I didn't know if it would make a difference.I saw real artist using this brand and thought I would throw 20 pounds at it and see.... Well, what a difference! It holds so much paint and is so pleasant to use. You can create the tiniest of lines as well as bigger strokes and it just keeps its shape beautifully. I e had no shedding either. The size six which I bought is definitely smaller than my other size 6 brushes but I read this fist and decided the size was perfect as I really wanted a 4.A bit pricey for me as I'm just dabbling but a totally lo Ely experience and if I had the money to buy more, I definitely think they are worth it.

Great product

I absolutely love this brush. I have a top of the range Winsor and Newton Series 7 sable Kolinsky brush which was a very expensive purchase for me but I find this brush much easier to use and performs a lot better. Even though it is only a size 4 it holds a LOT of water but it holds its shape. I’m relatively new to watercolour and I have noticed the difference that this has made to my painting. I also recently purchased a size 12 which I am also equally impressed with. I’ve now ordered four more brushes from the range I’m that impressed with them. I follow a lot of artists on social media and noticed that a lot of them use these brushes and now I know why.

I have been interested in watercolours for just over a year now and I've always been quite pleased using my Winsor and Newton Cotman brushes and I have seen many people recommend these brushes but I've had trouble locating a UK supplier and wasn't keen on the idea of paying the taxes from the U.S.I was pleasantly surprised to see them on Amazon and the price did not put me off as I knew these brushes were of high quality and I was definitely not disappointed.After using many other brushes and did not think using an expensive brush would not give you noticeable benefits straight away but I was wrong. These brushes are absolutely incredible and the amount of water the hold is beyond anything I've ever used before and the way it releases the pigment onto the paper is such a fascinating experience and I recommend if you're into taking your art to the next level I would not hesitate to use these brushes.Don't be put off by the price as you will not be disappointed.
