Flat packs a renowned for getting rickety, all you need to do to avoid this is take your time putting it together i always use a drop of PVA wood glue on the joints on the back panel because the back holds it all together and give it a solid feel.

I’m not sure if this product has had a redesign since some of the negative reviews were written, but I didn’t find any of the problems other customers described.The instructions were a booklet, not one piece of a4 paper, and they were very easy to understand. All panels and fixings were clearly labelled with numbers and corresponded well with the instructions. I had no problem understanding what went where.The cupboard itself is very sturdy for the money, I was pretty impressed with the quality. You can absolutely fit lever arch files on both shelves if you put your shelf on the middle notches.I bought 2 cupboards, and wouldn’t recommend trying to use a manual screwdriver, like I did for the first one. It took hours to put up and I was worn out by the end of it. For the second one I borrowed a drill with a Philips head bit, and I had it finished in about an hour.One person can put it together, but I’d highly recommend having a second person to help fit the doors, it was a little bit fiddly to try to hold the door in place whilst screwing the hinge to the inside.Over all, a perfectly fine product.

I'm one of those people who only publically complain if customer service emails don't go right... Sadly this is one of those occasions. I emailed the supplier a very long and detailed complaint of a large list of issues that I found with their product and their email in reply simply pointed a finger rather than trying to be helpful in any way.As per the header and images, I'd say to you - DO NOT buy this item as you will be left wanting... A LOT!1) Screws missing for the lock so unable to lock this 'lockable storage unit.'2) Instructions so lacking in any form of instruction you'd be better off building the unit to your own design! A single-sided a4 sheet with 4 images and no text description is seriously not enough for this product even with my somewhat vast experience with flatpack DIY. The images that the chap who did reply to my email referred too that should have answered all my questions were 3 very small, nondescript images shown next to my car key, no idea what they are telling me to do!3) If the lacking in actual direction with the instructions wasn't enough, the images don't even replicate the items or components that you are given anyway. The dowel/screw pieces aren't screw tops as they are shown as the feet don't look anything like the part on the instructions so I was left scratching my head for a moment or two and the holes to dowel placements aren't correct either.4) The back panel doesn't align with the back of the unit, the chap told me it was 5-10mm out (as if I couldn't see that with my own eyes?!) Apparently I should have squared the back of the unit to the panels, I said I would have done if the panels were square!5) The unit isn't as spacious as the images make out, sadly not even wide enough to fit a normal box folder so pretty useless for office use.6) There was also a small amount of damage to one of the panels, not a huge concern on its own but added to all of the other issues, it kinda tips the bucket!So I wish I read the reviews from others that match mine... I wouldn't have bought the item if I had read the other reviews! Poorly constructed, missing parts, impossible to understand clear instructions and incredibly poor customer service!Please avoid and skip the stress that comes with this product and avoid the need to talk to MMT Furniture Designs!

Nice, sturdy, clear instructions.Just one problem while assembling, the E screws are weak, I beheaded two while putting the doors on!Notice for company and customers: The picture of the latches on the instructions are up side down. If you put it in the way shown, it will click shut and you will never be able to open it! Use common sense while connecting them rather than the pictures.TIP for assembly: You could first screw the hinges into the cupboard side and then connect the doors (you can lie the cupboard on its side to make it even easier).

Good cabinets, not the same quality of our other cupboard but serves the purpose. Great numbering on each part to assemble

The media could not be loaded. My brother wanted a cabinet to keep his tools inside his shed, a lock was a bonus but not necessary as he has a lock on his shed anyway.The item is priced at £90.62, in my honest opinion way overpriced for the quality of product, at most would pay £50-60. There was quite a few marks and dents in the wood, the openings for fittings where poorly drilled. Some of these looked like they had been filled and corrected but still they did not manage it successfully. Nothing seemed to line up properly with the fittings. The feet are not white as in picture but a cheap looking metal with rubber coverings.The shelf in the one I received is adjustable, you just select which grooves to use.The instructions were a little evasive at times but if you have done flat pack furniture before you will manage. The pieces are numbered to help with identifying each.The only error I made was the lock bolt on door I put it on the wrong way round but a quick change it was corrected.Overall, the cabinet was easy to build minus the poor quality of manufacturing. It seems solid but not fit for heavy duty tasks. The key worked to lock cabinet but I would not be convinced this couldn’t be opened due to gap once doors are on.
