Slow and Unresponsive
Working with this system reminds me of the HDD 100% usage issues from years ago, however this time it's with the CPU. The initial W10 updates bring the system to a crawl. After listening to me complain from a nearby office, a co-worker gave me a book about the story of Job and told me I should really read it. Guess who got this POS for their office upgrade... so, it worked like a charm in THIS case, but I'd pass on this purchase again.

Fantasic little PC for a few days and then.. and then
Like most reviewers before me, I have nothing but praise for this powerful little marvel. No tricks. No surprises. Very fast. Extremely easy to set up. The most surprising thing I can say is the packing. Reminds me of Apple and a few other high end European products. I bought it to replace an 4-5 year old HP mini because no matter what I tried, I could not get my ISP's bandwidth. Even had their tech here with me proving the HP was the issue. When I got this unit, I put side by side and simply moved cables, turned it on and voila, worked perfectly. Started adding my software little by little, testing the velocity to Spectrum. At one point, I stopped listing each change I made because it looked like there would be no issue. Unfortunately after several more additions, internet velocity dropped in half, similar to my old HP. There was no documentation. No W11 disk or USB. But when I googled W11, it said you can reinstall from the OS itself. So I pushed a few keys, went for lunch and when I came back, I had a fresh install. I took a speed check. Was getting 700+ mb on my wireless, so I started installing software again. This time I documented each step and did not stop. This time all my software was installed and I was still getting 700+. I used it for that day and proved I was able to work which involves a lot of video downloading, editing and uploading. The machine is a little powerhouse. The CPU is superb. Worked that day and the next. Halfway through the next day, I had to attach an SSD through a USB port to get at some of my files. I'd been using this SSD for about a month in my other HP mini. Avast runs nightly. AFAIK it was fine.Shortly after I plugged it into the CK10, the screen went black. I rebooted the CK10, it came up doing crazy things. Several reboots and several combinations of weird behaviour like the USB mouse wouldnt work. The next reboot, the USB keyboard wouldn't respond. Next reboot both failed. Next reboot both worked. I logged into W11 and everything worked for 20-30 secs and screen went dark. I rebooted again. This time the bios didn't appear. Reboots after that had to be pulling the power to get the bios to appear. I removed the SSD, same behaviour. After several more reboots, I gave up. Packed up the unit and went to Amazon returns to replace it with another. But Amazon didn't offer a replacement. I assume because it was bought on Amazon Prime day, I couldn't swap it. If I wanted a replacement I have to pay $100 more. Needless to say, I'm not happy. It was a great machine for 2-3 days. I have never seen anything like this before. Since my SSD still is completely clean with both Avast and McAfee, I have to assume there was some kind of hardware failure that was either a matter of time or caused by plugging into that USB port.I will re-order something. I will look at CK10 Chinese competitors now that I'm paying full price. To anyone reading this review, I'd recommend when you get the unit, put it to work asap and work it for the 30 day return period. I will certainly make sure I do that for the next one.EDIT 7-27-2023Customer service contacted me within a day of posting 3 stars. Asked what they could do to make it right. Engaged in several messages until I figured it was either a bot or someone English comprehension challenged. After I thanked them very much but no thankyou, I received a message from another return address that flat out offered to replace the PC for me to try it to see if this would satisfy me. I agreed. One is on the way. I'm 99.5% sure this PC will be fine. I'll know for sure next week. Have to give customer service 5 stars. Cant say I've ever seen a vendor give you an expensive product to try for 30 days no strings, no credit card attached. These people really do adhere to 'the customer is always right'.Update Apr 21/24Forgot to update after I got the replacement. It worked perfectly. 7 months later, still working almost perfectly. There's an issue with BT headphones. I have 3 different sets. None of them connect as expected. I dont remember who told me but the but the solution was go to Device Manager. remove the included BT driver. Plug in BT USB adaptor. Turn on your headphones. Work fine. I never turn off my PC but when I occasionally take it to a client site, I have to repeat the process. Done this easily 15-20x. Works every time. Maybe by now, if you buy the PC, someone at Kamrui has fixed the bug. I could likely call for a fix but I'm happy with my quirky little process. Buying another one today for backup.

petite power
I’m surprised! After some rigorous work one day (8 continuous hours), it wasn’t hot as I expected it would be. The fan kicked on for about 20 sec., yea a bit louder than expected- especially for a small hard drives; but in comparison to my old-school tower, it’s about same noise decimal, but takes up less space; I find the USB slots & micro sd misplaced. It’s better to be in the front with the indicator light. I found it awkward being offside- I’m right-handed & the slots are very close together. You can’t see which one you’re pulling out clearly All my wireless USB’s are black & the hard drive is black.

nice little PC
Nice little PC, great for the price. Responsive support.I bought it for use as a dedicated controller running NewTek NDI tools NDI|HX and it seems to keep up.I had a few issues installing it but I think they are related to Windows 10 rather than the box itself . It hung setting up the account PIN (google search indicates that's a common Windows install problem) unplugging the network got past that.

The power of a desktop in a tiny package
With technology shrinking so much into a thin laptop or tablet, doesn't it make you wonder why desktop computers are still so huge? This "Mini PC" will answer that question, packing a lot of power into a small device. It performs well, never complaining or running slow with all the web browsing, videos, and casual games I've tried. The design is rather unique, with side panels attacked via magnets, so that it "floats" on the desktop. The only time this is a distraction is when plugging in USB devices; they were a little tight and I needed to brace it to insert them.It comes with Windows 11 Pro, 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage, which is plenty for a casual office or student system. If you need more storage, it can easily be opened and a 2.5" hard drive or SSD drive can be added, giving it plenty of room to store pictures, videos, or even more games. I tried opening it further, to access the built-in memory and storage, but gave up since it's rather sturdy and won't budge.I got it with a coupon code, which made the price even more tempting. It's definitely something to try!
