Worth the Money.
I purchased this to try and save money on my shaving costs. Gillette Fusion Razor blades are good but not inexpensive. I have incorporated this device in my shaving routine. A bit of shaving cream (there is always some remaining on your hand after you have covered your beard) on the top of the sharpener and after shaving, stroke the razor down from the top bringing the shaving cream with it and then 5 upward strokes on the Sharpener and that's it. Wash and dry and it's ready to be put away. My blades are staying sharper and although only in use for a couple of months I haven't noticed any deterioration in the shave. I expect to get three to four months shaving from a new blade. A new blade would normally last a month so even an extra month would half my shaving costs! It is important to start with a new blade to retain it's original sharpness.

These Work and Save You Money.
I have used a similar device for quite a while now. There are many of these devices on the market and for sale on Amazon. All are much the same despite what they say.The big question is do they work? The answer is Yes.So they will save you a lot of money if used correctly and you use the right sort of blade to re-sharpen.Now that is all you need to know but if you would like to know a little bit more read on.Firstly because the devices are mostly the same or rather they do the same job it may pay you to shop around and get the most keenely (sorry could not resist that adjective) priced one.Certain company blades work really well like Wilkinson Sword others less so.If you have one of the older type of blades with the gimmick wires across the blades this device will not work.Other blades of the 5 type variety have less of a gap between the blades so are not cleaned as well as other say 4 and 3 blade razors which have a wider gap.As a dedicated wet shaver I am always after the ultimate shave.Blades are expensive. After a few uses the blades tend to drag. Now this is not because the blade has blunted but is often that there is a build up a hair, soap and scum along with skin cells keratin and water itself especially if you live in a hard water area like I do.Blades on razors these days are so microscopically fine you wouldn't believe. Any trace of gunge prevents the blade from cutting cleanly. What this simple device does is it lets you clean the blades and bring them back to pristine use.Yeah.Now like you I was sceptical.SO I bought and tried the device out on 4 different razors. All had been used and tended to pull on my skin. The 4 I used wereThe latest Gillette Power GlideThe old power Glide/Wilkinson Sword Aqua Glideand a cheap Wilkinson Sword Disposable.I cleaned each on the Razor Sharp using the same sized tiny blob of Shaving Gel each time and pulled the blade back 4 times with one for luck.In all the blades produced a far smoother shave than they had before. The outstanding razor was the Wilkinson Aquablade. It felt better than new and in previous tests the Aquablade had always given the best results. Now the reason for this could be that the Aqua Glide has only 4 blades compared to the Gillette's 5.There is a bigger space between the blades.I think this wider gap makes the cleaning more effective- hence more of the 'gunge' blunting the edges was removed. Now to round up.I will use this device before each shave.I will tend to go for the wider gap blades like Wilkinson Sword in the future.BUT this device will and does extend the life of all blades. The trouble is that new technology when new is expensive. The latest wet shave out usually has blades that will not fit any other razors other than the latest model etc.So this device will pay for itself many times over.100 per cent recommended.Actually Works and Saves You A Packet.

Save money buy one.
Brilliant product purchased April this year, inserted new blade into my razor, and still on same blade in September, and it still shaves like a new blade.

Makes Mach 3 Blades last for almost 4 months
This product is superb. The first thing is that it keeps your razor blade (Mach 3 or whatever) sharp for months. This makes for quicker shaves that are free from nicks and razor burn. It is very simple to use. After each shave, all you do is put a little foam on the RazorPit, and push the blade across it four times. It takes about 5 seconds. This could save you £50 a year if you shave every other day, almost double that if you shave every day.Given that 8 Mach 3 blades costs anywhere between £12.50 to £18.00 depending on the stockist, everyone who shaves using a blade should get this. I find I can get about 2 weeks (6-8 shaves) out of one Mach 3 Blade. That's 26 Mach 3 blades a year costing anything up to £56. Using the RazorPit Teneo, one Mach 3 blade lasts me almost 4 months which is around 60 shaves, more or less. This means that I will only need 5 Mach 3 blades for each year. With the RazorPit, a years supply of Mach 3 blades costs just £7.50 (at Amazon's pricing), a saving of £48.50 (against High Street pricing). The Razorpit unit costs £22 which means that it pays for itself within 6 months. If we take a five year cycle, someone not using the RazorPt would spend around £200-£280 on Mach 3 blades. Razorpit users would spend just £37.50 on Mach 3 blades. That's a saving of up to £242.50 over five years, not including the £22 cost of the RazorPit itself. Given the savings, this is a no brainer. Buy this product. It will save you money as well as bring an end to annoying nicks and razor burn.
